the staff was attractive?
Everything else. Considering the cost, the room.
Travel tip : Do not use this hotel. Pan Pacific is a much better reference for more reasons than I can describe in this space.

For me the biggest attraction of this hotel is the location. It lies next to a very big shopping mall Glorietta. The food department of this mall is 3 minutes walk, so easy if one wants to dine with good quality take away food. Many small restaurants close by. Banking facilities like ATM within 2 minutes walk.
Ayala station is at the back of the hotel.
Taxies always at hand.
The room provides everything I needed. It is not very luxurious, but the lightning was cosy. There is a big enough desk with wifi and pc connections.
The bed is very comfortable, and has 2 reading lights.
All the room doors make a noise due to the safety latch.
The bathroom is very small.
The hotel lobby is spacious, but offers hardly any seating to wait for your guests or taxi.
The AC blows straight in the direction of the bed and can not be re-directed.
I stayed in this hotel alone. Because of the location it is easy to entertain yourself at night. The mall stays open till 22 or sometimes 23 hrs.
The food outlets are very close by and gave me the opportunity to buy many fresh take away food and fruit juices to enjoy in my room.
Ayala train station is very close.
The staff is very kind and always try to please the guests.
Although the mall is opposite and there is a lot of light traffic, the glass windows kept out most of the noise.
Because I live in the country side, I liked the view from all the high rise buildings.
There is an in-house doctor service.
I used this hotel for 13 days as a medical tourist and I was pleased with my choice.
I can not say anything about their restaurant, because I never dined in the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a massage parlor right opposite the main entrance. When your muscles are sore from shopping or traveling, they will fix that problem.
One sits on a chair, while they massage your back and neck. I became a regular customer.

You have to pay to use the (Herbal) steam room as it is located in the Spa and it's not cheap. Also, by 3pm the pool is in the shade.
Nice hotel, centrally located with a great Thai and Italian restaraunt and a superb all day dining experience at Basix. Beautiful Spa and a decent swimming pool and comfortable rooms. The service was very good and friendly and effecient. I would stay there again.
Shopping Tip : Shopping centres across the road and around the corner.

Friendly staff, good restaurants, decent gym and good room rates for a quality hotel.
No currency exchange and the pool is not the most exciting, a little small perhaps, but not really a problem.
The best thing about the hotel is how friendly all the staff are and the quality of the hotel considering the price. The hotel is perhaps not the most exciting in Makati but it is great for families, and if you want a quiet and decent hotel in Manila; very clean, hospitable and well managed, then this is a good choice. There is no bureau de change and after staying here ten days I asked for a late check out and they were going to charge me for a whole night. I argued and they agreed to charge me nothing so long as I left before 18:00 which was fine, but I wasn't very happy I had to argue my case.

Close to shopping malls, great food and very good service
We think the coffee shop should have more filipino vegetarian menu.
We just stayed for a night for business and had a good time.Good security and very clean room and good service. We will always make it there whenever we go to Manila. The hotel overall is very good. The building may look a bit old from outside but Its very very modern and well maintained. No regrets
Shopping Tip : SM super market is very close to the hotel and you can find varieties of the local fruits which is interesting with limitation of time

Lobby was really nice... hotel staff really friendly.
swimming pool is too shallow.
My reservation called for a non-smoking room with two beds. Since my flight was arriving early, I requested for a early checkin with a corresponding half a day charge which I readily agreed.
I also requested for an airport pickup which I must say is excellent. The driver was there waiting when I got out of the immigration/customs.
When I got to Dusit the room they have a room with one king size bed so i insisted on a room with two beds. They put me in a room/floor that was stinking with smoke, so I requested to be transferred to a different room, which they did around 9 a.m.
FINALLY... the guest ahould be provided with the room that they requested upon checkin.

Thai style hotel with very good hospitality
The location is very good as it's just right in the center of the commercial area. People working in this hotel are very friendly and they upgrade a bigger room for us simply for our requirement to be on the same floor since I travel with my parents and my husband with a six year old kid. However, the rooms are bit old.

Helpful staff
Extremely clean, tasteful decor
Excellent location
I had a second stay here as my first experience was so good. Breakfasts offer a wide range of choices, with both english / american style and food from the Philippines. This area is a shoppers paradise - right outside the door is a wonderful mall, and which connects right through to the fantastic Greenbelt shops. Also close to the various Embassies. Walking to the shops or business area can be hot, so it was a bonus to be so close and able to retreat back into airconditioned comfort. Attending a conference here was also an excellent experience with efficient organisation by the hotel.
Shopping Tip : Walk through to the Greenbelt shops - they are a lovely environment.

Very nice and Quite rooms The staff is so professional and the hotel it's self is like walking in to a much better world. Has everything you could need in a hotel and more! Spa, Beauty Salon,Gym, Pool, Stores, Doctors, Dentist, Travel agency, 4 different Resturants, Sam Megail Bar & Grill. It's my favorite place to stay in Manila!
Thai Resturant is not set up to accomadate everyone I was turned away twice. That is not good for your business. They have weird hours and they don't do room service! The Hotel should have the Thai Resturant as the house servier along with the wonderful one they already have.
I can't remember the name of the Thai resturant but it is located on the second floor of the Dusit Thani in Makati Manila! Personal were not at all accomadating!
I have never stayed anywhere as nice and comfortable as the Dusit Thani the rooms are big and roomy bathrooms are always stocked and clean the bar is checked daily and room service is a dream. This is a haven for a king and Queen, you can ring room service and make a request for any of the luxuarish services they offer and it is there in record time. You can be pampered in ways you only dreamed of in fairy tails. There prices are very resonable and you receve service with a beautiful smile no matter what you are involved in. Oh there are so many things I can't remember them all. I will make sure I always stay at the Dusit anytime I am in Asia!
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel has it's own Doctor staff and Dentist right there in the hotel. You have everything a women in her late 40's could want, not to say that across the street is a shoppers dream 3 malls in walking distance and it's just great!!!!

Greeting is good and shows sincerity.
Quite old and need repair especially the bathroom
Have to wait quite a while to check in.
Good for short term stay ONLY as the price for stay is expensive. Facility wise is so so as the hotel need upgrading as show in the bathroom facility. Hotel transport is very expensive as the trip to the airport is pretty near. Hotel should have good tie up with Taxi reliable company to provide alternate transport.

The lobby and reception area were breathing taking. The staff greeted me daily with a bow and a smile. The breakfast feast at Basix's was AWESOME, great selection.
Internet connection was slow and glictchy. Mini bar items were rather expensive.
This hotel is definitely five star. Doors were opened and I was greeted daily with a bow and smile. The most tranquil and relaxing stay I ever had in a hotel. The breakfast at Basix's was second to none. You must try the italian gelato at the snack stand in the lobby. The fitness center is not the best I've seen but plenty of equipment all in working condition. I will choose the Dusit Thani Hotel for my stay in the future.
Hotel Feature Tip : The fitness center was available 24hrs a day.

Pleasent Bar atmosphere!
Prompt Room Service
Buffet meal hours should be extended.
More variety of liquor and food in the Club room
during happy hour.
The hotel reception was warm and friendly, the room was clean and orderly. I thought the spa services on site were exceptional to say the least. My view was nice however the windows probably weren't as clean as I would have liked.
All prices to include the mini-bar and the dining establishments was more than reasonable. I would stay here again if in the area no doubt.

Rooms and Location and Service
No free wifi, for this caliber of hotel at the pricing there should be free wifi
Excellent value for the level of service and standard of rooms. Yes it's a bit pricey but the location and service and comfort is unmatched.
Shopping Tip : Check out Bonifacio High Street as a good alternative to the Greenbelt.
