the location is ideal for shoppers and relaxers. you have about 5 or 6 malls in your backyard and movie theaters and restaurants to your hearts content. we really like chili's but understand that maybe b/c we're american and don't eat there back in the states. if you have shopping to do, you'll likely find what you're looking for but with prices that are a bit high, there are other places to get deals for knock off goods.
Nightlife Tip:
Do the club level, free drinks from 5 to 8!

The staffs are very Professional,always willing to help and always with a smile. The foods are excelent and full of variety for everyone to choose from.The rooms are clean and the whole hotel in general.
Nightlife Tip:
There are plenty of entertainment all through out this side of the world 24/7 is not enough to enjoy it.

Thai experience in the middle of Manila

Arrived after midnight to find only room available had twin beds despite request for kingbed. After discussions staff "upgraded" us to a club room with king bed however room was very tiny making us wonder how small our booked room would have been?? Cultural disconnect when staff give you Thai greetings when getting ut of lift. Bar area in main foyer pleasant except for strong vibtation felt though the floor and chairs requiring several sets before vibration no longer felt.
Breakfast pleasant with many examples of local cuisine. Security on main door with sniffer dog however perhaps metal detector more appropriate than lady poking through your handbag with long stick -not sure how effective this intrusive search was??
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take own travel information as staff only supplied photocopy of local Makati area -no overall map of Manila and other shopping/restaurant areas provided when requested

Whoever rates this hotel as fantastic has never had a comparison.
The rooms are old outdated with the wallpaper peeling off around the fire alarm on the ceiling.The fitments in the bathroom look like they have never been cleaned properly. The carpet has lost it.The breakfast buffet is not up to what it should be.The layout of service for dining is lousy.I gave this a chance and regret it.
Shopping Tip:
you can feel the negativity as you walk in. Give it a miss or live to regret spending your hard earned money

Great stay good value. Will definately stay again. Close and central for business district. Clean efficient and good service. Friendly staff. Rooms are large, stay on the newly rennovated side. Breakfast good, room dining good. Good facilities and clean.

Business Trip in Manila.
The hotel is near the Metro and jus tbeside the malls.

I stayed there for 6 days. The rooms were great, loved the breakfast and the club services. Didn't get to use the gym, but heard it was the best in town.
Shopping Tip:
Must check out the SM Mall and the other shopping mall just 2-3 mins walking. The hotel is the best location you can find.

rooms were nicely renovated as was the hotel's public areas. price of in room internet is extremely expensive,i believe. a comfortable stay overall.
room service menu is limited and food was ordinary from the one time that i had tried it.

use the free wifi in the lobby if you need to.
