Clean, comfortable surroundings. Courteous and respectful staff. The breakfast is a bit overpriced, in spite of the selection. The Dusit was a real bargain via the Agoda booking engine. Prices were comparable to hotels that are nowhere near as impressive. It's clean and they take hotel security very seriously. If you get a chance, book a Club room for a bit extra comfort and style
Shopping Tip : Check out nearby SM shopping mall for just about any basic goods before venturing to the more extensive and more expensive Greenbelt.

Good size rooms with plasma TV Rooms need updating, executive lounge is small and dark. breakfast limited choice. No late checkout. Poor value. Dusit is nothing special. Rooms are fair sized and have good plsma TV with large selection of channels.
Free internet in club rooms also good feature.
Rooms need updating as they are nothing special and look tired.
Executive lounge is small, dark and one of the worst I have seen. More like a travel agents than an executive lounge.
Breakfast selection very limited and seating options are few. If you are there when it is busy, prepare to go hungry or eat standing up.
Late check out only until 2.30pm or "pay the extra" are not really benefits, especially at the price we paid.

Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel. Helpful and clean hotel. We have had only positive experiences there. They let us leave our bags there. They have let us check out late and they gave us the great internet deal when we phoned them on our return. The Dusit Thani is very conventiently located near the airport, in the Makati business centre and next to a huge shopping mall area. The hotel is done in a beautiful Thai style and the greeting by the staff is warm and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and large compared to most hotels. The spa that is in the hotel is truely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. The food at Breakfast is also great, a large buffet with anything you can wish for at breakfast. But the most amazing thing is the service. Where ever you turn there is friendly staff to greet you or to help you.
Shopping Tip : The Glorietta Mall right next to the hotel has absolutely anything you would need.

Hotel prices can get high but the Fiesta bar is a good place to have a beer. The hotel is well located in Makati downtown metro manila. Close by are all the shopping malls - from cheap to luxury goods. Restaurants are scattered amongst these but I preferred Gilligans and Gerrys - good food, good prices and good entertainment at Gilligans (behind Max's).
Cannot beat Filipino grilled chicken! Oh, and Long Island Teas....

It's our second time to stay here.The room facility and service are quite good, can say perfect.The best thing is the good location. Its convenience, closer from the airport and the shopping mall. The daily charges too expensive its way beyond affordable with todays economy Its over 7 years now I always choose Dusit as my stop over stay during my arrival and before departure. The reason being is the affordable prices before recession occured. I enjoyed their breakfast even invites my relatives from the province so they experience the american way of dining. I always watch my figure their gym has all the equipment I needed to keep myself toned with the help of their trainer. My wife loves the sauna and massage ( don't have it no more ).
Shopping Tip : Very convenince for shopping and restaurant if you choose to eat outside.

It is in Makati but if you want real close access to Greenbelt, this may not be for you. A 15 min walk or 5 min taxi (subject to traffic). Lobby area looks fine, but room is dated....need some refreshemnt.Service was generally ok, but can be uneven at times. Buffet breakfast at reasonable price. Nice hotel will recomend to anyone who which to stay in Makati area for attention business and sightseeing

Very Clean and courteous staff Hotel security was a bit tight for my liking The Dusit Hotel is a beafutiful hotel located right in the business sector of Manila. It was really easy to access from my working location. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly.

Have rooms for upgrating always We were simply overnighting on our way to Makati. We chose the Dusit Thani Hotel for two reasons. First because of location - Makati is a safe neighborhood and it is close to the airport, but not so close that you are right under the airplanes. Second, it offers a 5 star rating at a reasonable price. We generally would choose a 4 star hotel but felt it was not required for a quick one night stay. The room was clean and well furnished, although a bit noisy as we had a room right on a busy street. There are many wings to the hotel, it would be worth asking for a room in a quieter wing if you were staying longer. The food was average, however the upholstery is very tired and needs refurbishing. Checkin and check out were both efficient, and the staff in the restaurant were friendly.

im großen und ganzen sehr nett....sehr freundlich, tolles service, vorallem für geschäftsreisende, riesiges frühstücksbuffet preise der zimmer waren relativ billig, bis wir angereist sind, und für jeden extraservice nochmals zahlen mussten (schwimmbad, frühstück, internet, ect) sehr schönes hotel mit überaus freundlichem personal. direkt in makati, der innenstadt gelegen und alles sehr gut erreichbar. das hotel ist besonders geeignet für geschäftsreisende. zimmer waren für ein fünf sterne hotel sehr billig, jedoch sind frühstück, benützung des pools und der fintnessräume, der lounge und des internets nicht inkludiert. wenn man jeden der service in anspruch nimmt, kommt man auf die gleichen preise wie andere hotels in der selben kategorie...

it is a nice hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous.I did enjoy my stay. There is a bar in the lobby.It is not relaxing place. One feels a hotel of this nature should have a proper bar.The swimming pool is also not upto the mark. It a a very nice hotel,with a first class spa. One does enjoy the treatment in the Spa.

Location. Near good restaurants. If you are looking for Philippine ambiance, you wont find it here. This is Thailand in the Philippines This hotel is convenient when conducting busiiness in the Makati area. Its just about 30minutes from terminal 1 and 15minutes from terminal 3 depending on the traffic. Greenbelt Mall with ith many restos is just a 10 minute walk through the Glorietta and Landmark Department store. The Ayala museum is within the greenbelt mall.
Restaurant Tip : For Filipino cuisine try Fely J at the Greenbelt 3.
