The worst thing about this hotel was the bed which was just a piece of foam covered by a too small bed sheet - backache guaranteed. Porters and doormen very helpful and attentive but desk staff not so good - a training problem surely as Filapinos are naturally helpful. Rooms are not serviced unless you ask for this to be done - don't expect this to be done automatically.

This was a mistake! If you have read good reviews on the website, don't make the mistake we did. It was dirty, with very poor air conditioning, poor staff response to requests (hours to get extra towels). I found staff would respond to requests if I gave a small tip with the promise of more when they returned with the requested items. If you like cold food for breakfast, served on dirty plates, don't miss this hotel. When I mentioned to the staff that the heating flames for the food were not lit, I received a very dismissive grunt, with the back the hand waved at me. The street has an open sewer to scent the area. ( I ran to the door, holding my breathe to avoid the stench). After a couple days I couldn't take it anymore and left for another hotel. Dealing with the staff was so bad that I didn't try to get my money back. Stay away from this hotel.
