Staff 0n reception

This hotel is well situated for sightseeing. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The staff on the reception on both visits were not friendly or helpfull. Basic menu in hotel restaurant, staff were not aware of promotions on drink that were advertised in the hotel lift and reception area.

Restaurant Tip : Located nearby, turn left when leaving hotel, are a couple of excellent eating houses. Taxi from hotel to Clark Airport 3000 pisos, however you have to pay toll charges, which was 200pisos approx.

just opp the Hyatt Casino and round the bend is the Pan Pacific Hotel. My local friend had no problem parking his car at the hotel.

My only complain will be keycard to the room. Had to try many many times before i can enter the room...No tissue paper in the room.

Was sceptical about staying near a red light, but the room rate was really attractive, so thought of giving it a try. It turn out to be a good choice and i would recommend it to anyone. The hotel is just opp the Hyatt Casino, and round the bend is the Pan Pacific Hotel. Lots of restaurants and spas..very convenient and 7-eleven is just next to the hotel. Best of all, my local friends had no problem parking at the entrance of the hotel and if they have to stay to chat, they can park at the hotel's parking lot for free.

Good Location.

No Safe deposit box inside the room. Elevator is just too old.

If you are a tourist looking for fun in Manila, this hotel might suit you best. The area surrounding the hotel just pack with entertainment and restaurants. Money changers are everywhere. The hotel is safe bec they have full time security looking after the guests

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nice place for shopping and bars

The room is a reasonably large. The location is excellent. The front desk was much nicer this time than last time.

The hotel does not have a great deal of atmosphere. The lobby is simple and functional rather than elegant.

I stayed at the Executive Plaza Hotel twice-- the first time in August last time in January 2009. The front desk was much nicer this time -- last time they weren't terrible but they weren't terribly cooperative either. The hotel is reasonably priced and clean and reasonably upscale. I would prefer something a little bit fancier but I don't want to spend the money. I've tried a number of other hotels in the area and I found that most of them had very small rooms. So far, this hotel is the best for the money in that neighborhood. When I make $1 million, I would stay at the Hyatt right across the street. But for right now, this is my first choice.

Shopping Tip : Go to Robinsons.

The Staff of the Hotel are very friendly. The room was quite clean & the service was very well.

Restaurant can still make some improvements

Every time I come home to the Philippines, I usually come to the places where I do feel free and easy. Executive Plaza is already one of it, it feels like coming home! The staffs are friendly, because of the known face or as a frequent guest, they are trying to give their best. The place is quite convenient and okay. It's worth staying in.

Hotel Feature Tip : A Breakfast Buffet style will be a grea idea!

convenient, two blocks to robinson's mall. For the price it's decent.

very few amenities, bar of soap, towels and a hairdryer that's about it. EXTRA for anything else. Careful, don't break anything...they will charge you for it...example hairdryer fell and broke a glass in the bathroom, they charged me 132 Pesos for it. Neighborhood is not great... too many touts and beggars (very annoying).

Hotel is reasonably clean and well maintained, staff is more than competent. Food and service at the hotel is ok, again not great but good value. Wish they offered free or reduce rates for internet access, as well as more bathroom toiletries...shampoo, shower cap, toothpaste/toothbrush...maybe complimentary bottle of water. Not asking for too much am I? Would probably stay there again, but will look around at other options.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : They offer day trip/tours of local attractions...will give that a try next time.

Great location in the middle of the city. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.

The area which the hotel is located is in a red light district, so be prepared, it can be quite disturbing.

We really liked this hotel in the middle of Manila, close to a great shopping mall, and within walking distance from the old part of town. It is a clean hotel with a friendly staff. This part of town has a lot of tourists so the night life is quite alive, with loud music and lots of karaoke bars.

Shopping Tip : Robinsons mall is a great mall if you want to do some shopping.

near big mall and nightlife

not good for families, near red light district.

This hotel is easily located off the main road. The staff were friendly and well dressed as is the hotels appearance. The swimming pool could do with a clean and the charges once in the hotel are very expensive. Breakfast was ok. On the whole for the price of the hotel i would recommend this to anyone, just watch the extra charges like internet etc once in the hotel. 1000 pesos for 24 hrs internet !!! 5 star marriott makati is only 750 pesos for one hour !!

Location, price.

Front reception staff need to be friendlier.

The hotel is in an excellent location for many of the tourist attractions in Manila. Upon arrival the receptionist did not adopt a friendly attitude whilst we were booking in and it appeared that it was all too much trouble for her. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant staff were not aware of a promotion that was taking place in relation to the sale of alcohol which was being advertised throughout the hotel and it was necessary to point this out to them. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

The standard rooms are clean and well maintained.I enjoyed my three nights at the hotel and had a good rest. It is nearer to many places and it is convinient.

The hotel staff are not friendly and they do not even smile. The food is horrible at the hotel.

The only thing good about the hotel is the rooms and it's location which is convinient for you to work around to many interesting places. The hotel and the cafe seems to be operating individually. You can't charge your bill to your room when you dine in the cafe. This is troublesome for visitors.

reasonably priced, good location and nice clean rooms

the shrimp tempura had no flavor.

A great hotel thats reasonably priced, near robinsons mall (about two and a half blocks away) theres a 7-11 right next door. unlike some hotels they let you bring in take-in food. their hotel food good an reasonably priced. although their shrimp tempura had no flavor their chop suey was great! the rooms were very nice and the staff was friendly. they have a tour booth in the lobby and have free our maps of the city. we will be staying there the next time wer in town!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : they have tour packages in the hotel and some adertisments in the rooms so you know whats happing in the area.

Overall good choice, but some surcharges Guest Rating: 7.3

Good location, taxi drivers know this hotel, fair price if online booked

Smelly rooms on smoking floor, expensive surcharges (internet, laundry, breakfast)

The hotel is - compared to other in the same area and price class - well maintained. Responsive housekeeping (for example, defective bulbs were quickly replaced). The room on smoking floor is smelly when you enter it, but you're used to within a minute. On non-smoking floor, there were only rooms with single beds available. I booked without breakfast, as I found the surcharge hefty. Eat one time there, was ok but pricey. Better walk 3-5 minutes to places like Lucky Way or Robinsons Mall! Laundry service was very expensive for local conditions (640 Php, would cost less than 200 Php elsewhere). Later I found a laundry nearby (towards Roxas Boulevard). The Wifi connection is very good throughout the whole hotel, but the price is almost a ripoff: 1 hour: 240 Php (validity 24 hours), 4 hours: 480 Php (validity 36 hours) or 16 hours: 960 Php (validity 48 hours). My main complaint is the very short validity (starting after the first logon). But the connection is fast and works...
