spacious room for such an affordable rate. great housekeeping and close to various services area(food, shopping and bar etc)

located in a little bit noisy area. might be danagerous walking along with the street around by oneself. not recommended for family accommodation with children.

front desk staff were great, nicely located for me and great facilities than the rate you pay. easy check-in and out with agoda's reservation paper!

Shopping Tip : Robinson Shopping Mall(food, shopping) is just 5 minute walking distant.

Good size Rooms, good location, excellent budget hotel

Noisy if in rooms 1-4 on lower floors due to traffic junction.

Our third stay in this Hotel, and happy that we were able to have our chosen room, it was just like coming home, great value hotel for the size of room, and location, just around the corner from Robinsons Mall, and the new open air courtyard with some excellent restaurants and bargain beer buckets, reccomended.

Hotel Feature Tip : WiFi expensive, if you are there for a few days its better to get a 3G mobile internet pay as you go subscription from Sun Celluar.

Location, it's a fair value for the money

no safe in room wifi is ridiculous expensive

My stay here was good. The room was spacious and appeared clean. The bed was big and comfortably soft. All hotel guests are required to show photo ID and register at the door. Security additionally checks with you before a guest exits the lobby to make sure you know they are leaving. It was a good experience. 7-11 right next door. BDO bank/ATM one block away. Readily available taxis but make sure they use the meter

Hotel Feature Tip : WIFI SHOULD BE FREE!

excellent location, reasonable price

expensive internet

as per my previous reviews, we always find the hotel clean, helpful staff, a good little coffee bar restaurant, they kept my suitcase for several days without charge, only big gripe is the internet charge - it expires too quickly before you have used the quota.

Hotel Feature Tip : Try to get higher floors, lower floors get some street noise at night.

Short walk to Robinsons Mall where coffee shops offer free wifi access. Directly opposite a Casino - if thats for you. Roxas Boulevard close for jogging - where else in Manila?

Most expensive WiFi and Lobby Internet connections totally outdated its a utility should be 'free' Dull coffee shop and Lobby area.

The rooms are spacious and clean but inner rooms slightly clausterphobic with no natural light. Service is good, staff are discreet and helpful. There is poor cell phone and/or WiFi reception in some rooms. Noted some signs in Malate offering rooms in this hotel cheaper than rate obtained on the net!

Shopping Tip : Plenty of Foreign Exchange shops around the hotel - compare rates.

Central position, nice staff, good security

expensive internet, slow elavator, noisy on lower floors

This is the third and fourth time here - its generally one of the best budget hotels in the area, this time we stayed on the 6th floor, which was noisy at night, and on the 10th floor which was better. Internet is expensive and runs out of time (like all the Palm group of hotels in the area).Long wait for the lifts at times. Otherwise this is our favourite hotel in Manila.

i liked their services and privacy and hospitality.

they might be weak on providing tours information in philippines for foreigners.

i and my wife really liked the stay in this hotel and surely if we pass to Manila again we will stay in the same hotel. they have an excellent security system and high privacy and good hospitality. thanks to Agoda for directing us to this nice hotel. i only suggest to them to provide a tourist information for the visitors or even at least guide them to the tourist agencies so they can plan their stay in Manila.

Shopping Tip : the hotel is centralized among shopping areas in the center of Manila.

NO FREE WIRELESS INTERNET!!!

We've stayed at the hotel twice now and it's really a good value. The king size bed is very comfortable and walking distance to Robison's. WIFI outrageously expensive. If they cater to business and leisure traveler's, they need to reconsider charging for internet access. Get with the program - MAKE IT FREE FOR EVERYONE TO USE!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The tour was overpriced and not worth the money...

Staff are generally efficient, polite and professional

Front desk staff are a tad bit unorganized

Whenever I'm in Manila I always try to get a room at Executive Plaza first. This is usually accomplished through Agoda as I find that the rates are better and Executive Plaza Staff generally receive notice promptly. The rooms are clean and the water pressure hot. Things to watch out for however are few: 1. Request to have all minibar items and other items for sale removed from room. There is a 7/11 right next door to the hotel and you can stock the refrigerator with whatever you need for a 10th of the price. 2. Internet/Wifi costs are exorbitant! If you have your laptop with you there are NUMEROUS free Wifi spots available like the mall (Robinsons), G-Point, LA Cafe and many other locations withing a block or two. Moreover there is an internet cafe about two buildings away. See the large signs or ask any of the vendors, kids or local business people you will see milling about. Once you have beat those two price gauging issues it is a pretty nice place to stay. Ask for a room on a higher floor and you will hear no outside noises. A good point to consider is print out your hotel confirmation itinerary as front desk staff may have difficulty locating your reservation. Have 1000PHP handy as they ALWAYS request it for "incidentals" i.e room damages or minibar purchases. If you followed my earlier instructions it will be refunded to you cheerfully upon check out. Final tip, upon check out if heading to the airport (NAIA) or anyplace else ALWAYS request a white METERED Taxi. DO NOT ACCEPT any special deals from the drivers. As soon as they start asking, requesting, pleading for more or ANY surcharge tell them to drop you off and let you take ANOTHER taxi. The nonsense will come to a SCREECHING halt! INGAT!!!!

Nightlife Tip : Close to all hotspots i.e. LA Cafe, G-Point, Amazonia, Hobbitt House etc.

The hotel is reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and the staff was generally helpful. The bed was big and soft. The Location was convenient, near the US Embassy and a variety of nightlife options. There's a travel/tour desk in the lobby, and security at the door.

Internet is not included and to buy the prepaid card was a bit on the expensive side. Front desk staff was a bit dismissive at times and lacked a professional smile.

Generally speaking, my stay here was good. The room was spacious and appeared clean. The bed was big and comfortably soft (foam, not spring). Room service was timely, although the food was "ok". I never ate in the Resto, so comment. The manager and door staff were friendly. All hotel guests are required to show photo ID and register at the door. Security additionally checks with you before a guest exits the lobby to make sure you know they are leaving. It was a good experience. The location had some pluses and minuses, as in walking down the street, I was regularly solicited. 7-11 right next door. BDO bank/ATM one block away. Pagcor casino directly across the street. Readily available taxis (make sure they use the meter, as they try to call themselves "hotel service" and charge you a flat rate that is about double what you would pay on the meter.) This is not the hotel's fault, but just a heads up!

Friendly staff, close to big shopping mall

Sleezy area, expensive internet

The Executive Plaza in not in the CBD (Mekati) but is close to Robinson's Department Store which is in a huge mall. There are many restaurants there. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and the room was big and very clean. The bathroom was excellent. The corridors smell smoky but the room was airconditioned and smelt fine.

Hotel Feature Tip : Avoid blue taxis called by the bellboy when going to the airport. Ours was way too expensive and we could have had one of the white ones which was waiting outside, but the bellboy clearly had a good reason for us to use the blue one

Staff was very friendly and professional Room very clean...food was great....walking distance to Robinson mall....7-11 store right next door.

None

I have already decided my next trip to Manila I will once again stay at the Excutive Plaza. The staff was all so nice...My room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. I ordered room service and it was very fast. Also the food was great. Couldn't ask for a better location..if you want to shop the mall is very close..if you feel like doing a little gambling Pagcor is right accross the street. The price is right and so is everything else at Executive Plaza

Location, big room size

Old and a bit dingy, indifferent staff

EPH is well located just a couple of blocks back from the waterfront and 2 minutes from Robinsons Mall. Rizal Park and Intramuros are closeby. The hotel itself is nice enough, if nothing special. My room was nice and large, but the lighting was poor and the window was covered, leaving the room with a 'dingy' feel. My swipe card was faulty and took about 10 swipes to finally open the door - reception were not that interested in fixing this problem. Wifi internet is available at extra $. All that said, I had a nice enough stay at the hotel. Not sure about value for money, but if you don't have high expectations you will like the EPH.

Shopping Tip : Robinsons Mall - just around the corner and it has everything you need!

This hotel is good location to fun places and all staffs are relatively friendly.

Most room does not have windows and the room's atmosphere is very dark image. Additionally, outside of the hotel is noisy all night.

Only night stay might be okay because the price is reasonable comparing with another hotels around this area. I don't recommend that if you expect to comfortable stay in daytime.

Shopping Tip : As I told above, the locate is relatively in the safest area and there is a nice mall and historical places nearby this hotel.
