rip off with internet connections

internet is not free. they will rip u off for connection. will sell you scratch cards for internet connection that will cost 240 php per hour or if your willing to pay 1500php for internet and staying for a week. shows how desperate they are to squeeze money out of guests in that way. business center is not upto the mark with no printing or scanning services. some reception staff are not very well trained. will never see them smile and serving you will be like they are doing you a favor. but some staff are very professional. location is good for bachelors with plenty of clubs around. do not be fooled by the small money exchange outlets. they will fool you. you give them a 100 usd for a rate of about 4600 php and they will start paying you in 100 php notes. telling you they dont have big notes. when you step outside you will be shocked to find its 23 100 peso notes instead of 46... they will fool you right infront of your eyes. there are some good money exchangers. you will know the difference when you look at their shop. so be cautious. dont be fooled by small casinos around. you will be playing against a group who will all be friends and you wont even feel it. they will let you win a few hands and then take all your money after that... basically this area is like a challenge... if your not street smart dont stay in malate...

Good sized room, nice large bed, clean with a good shower and bathroom.Good location. Hotel foyer is always well attended and the staff respond well. the deal with Agoda is really good. Over 30% saving on the price.

not a lot is bad really. problems with the door cards almost every day but that is about it. We have been back twice now so that probably sums it up.
The service from Agoda is really good, big saving on the price. We have used agoda several times and used the hotel again.

A ok place for the money

I stayed many times in this hotel because its near to all places I want to go. The staff is average, the reception at times can be nasty and not very friendly, the coffee shop has sleeping people who prefer to watch TV than looking to serve the guests.
All in all like most of the Philippines, a great potential but slow and partly incompetent action.
Nightlife Tip:
24 h at the ex Rosies Diner LA Cafe nearby. Best rate and no chaeting moneychanger Edzen just 150 meter down the road direction LA Cafe.

You'll find alot of beggar outside the hotel asking for money. Can leave some tips on your bed if you want to have newer bed sheet for your next day.

This was a great place for my wife to stay. We got a good price on the room and the service and the staff were great. My wife loved her stay and the staff treated her very well and room service was prompt and the food very good. thank you for the great price and a great stay.
Shopping Tip:
Robinson's is very close and the mall has some great restaurants.
