my family and i stayed only one night at this hotel. it has a casino but we did not visit. the lobby is big and beautiful. very impressive with large pillars to its very high ceiling. the dining room is nice but the food for dinner was not that great. the breakfast however was very good.
the best feature of this hotel is its location. very close to both the mall of asia and naia airport.
the worst feature of this hotel was our room. it had definitely seen better days and was badly in need of renovation. the carpet in particular was very dirty and the bed was not that comfortable either.
overall, i expected a lot more for the price charged. i will definitely try a different hotel next time.

The hotel is about a 20 minute cab ride from the airport, a 10 minute cab ride to the Mall of Asia, the ferry docks and relatively close to the US Embassy. It is an ok value for the money. If it was priced $25 a day less then it would be an excellent value or if they had better bedding, sheets and towels for the same price. The staff was friendly and helpful and gracious. One major kudo and one negative. On checkout I accidentally left my camera in the room and the maid voluntarily retrieved it-bravo! However, on the first night a man came to my door after I was in bed and said that he needed to do an inventory of the bar and refrigerator. I don't he was with the hotel but I never had any problems after that.

In one word - "Horrible".
Unfriendly staff (although the concierge was nice). Expensive wifi (when it works). Air Conditioner was leaking. Room was stuffy. No view. In the busy part of town where the exhaust from all the buses and jeepeys collects under the front of the hotel. Hotel provided taxis are expensive. Room was expensive. I almost had to serve myself in the restaurant- slow, scarce staff. Breakfast sucked.
Nightlife Tip:
If you're a traveler, you'll probably like this hotel - compared to surrounding ones in Makati.

O.K. hotel with good location but a little pricey

Hotel had a good location close to shopping mall but overall is a little pricey for what you get and all the amenities are extra and priced a little high. Overall the rooms are pretty nice. They had very friendly service staff as when we checked in, we found the T.V. and the safe in the room was both broken and the service man came and fixed the safe and replaced the T.V. right away. I would stay here again if the prices were reduced a little more but what they are asking, you can find better.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Eat outside of the hotel as the breakfast buffet is only average and way overpriced

The right Hotel at the right time and place

the room was the right size and the staff were efficient and helpful. the pool, altho' dated was good for the kids as they didn't care and just wanted to jump into a giant 'bathtub'. getting safety gear (such as floatation devices) was easy by a trip to moa and costs there were minimal ... and the hotel provided a free shuttle bus. the hotel food is a bit expensive if you do not seure room with breakfast.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Know where you can eat cheaply and safely close to the hotel ... there is a surprising range of choices if Heritage costs are unacceptable.

Rooms clean and the right size, food in restaurant is magnificent and suits any Asian and Western taste (the variety is staggering), the staff are responsive and friendly and the Hotel is adequetely secured.
Shopping Tip:
Close to Mall Of Asia .... hotel has shuttle Bus ... 5 mins. You can spend days there and shop till you drop .... with great restaurants, activities such as bowling and fireworks for th kids Fri and Sat nite.

by the way i am raymundo matic and not kok chin ang, (he is a friend of mine)i usually stay at heritage hotel whenever i visited manila. the reason behind it, it is so close to mall of asia, to makati financial district and the airport as well.
as for the hotel staff, i enjoy the friendly and helpful staff who are always there to assist your needs.
looking forwardto coming down to manila again this february...hope more discount from agoda members.
Travel tip:
Always bring your universal adapter as different places has diff style of socket on their power supply.
Eat less when travelling.
