Neat and friendly hotel with professional staff. The rooms are confortable and cosy with advance facilities available such as fast internet access and gym. The restaurant is superb with set menus and a la carte dishes served for wider audience and also the view from the hotel is beautiful with scenery of nearby buildings and and landscape of Ortigas.

The rooms are confortable and also the restaurant are neat and friendly and great facilities wint Internet connection and gym.

The response time from staff can be improved. For example when I tried to call reception or other departments of the hotel, most of the time the person at the end of the line never answered the call or there was a long delay of answering calls. Also the TV cable channels can be improved to cater for wider selection of audience, e.g indian channels.

Unjustly Penalized for Late Check-Out Guest Rating: 4.0

If you have just one day left before flying back home and there is till shopping to do, Holiday Inn Galeria is the right place to stay.

Big Spacious Rooms, Friendly Waiters at the Buffet, Proximity to the Robinsons (shops, money changers, restaurants, internet cafes, Supermarket for fresh fruits..

The Reception did not want to be flexible and let us have a late check out till 2PM like some other big hotels do. So they let us pay P600 penalty for staying in the room, trying to solve our problem with packing (including the problem we had that we could not open a suitcase lock as the key is missing) so taking in on all these reasons, we think it incorrect that Holiday Inn (or the strict Miss at the Reception) gave us a 600 Pesos penalty to solve our problems with our suitcases/excess baggage..Galeria should give their guests flexibility. I mean we did not check out late 'coz we overslept or that we were out in Greenhills shopping or lunching at Tomas Morato. We ran out of time figuring out how to open a locked suitcase, frantically trying to locate a Post Office where to mail our excess baggage (which turned out to be a non-solution to our woes as post offices in Makati are closed on Saturdays). In one words, we want a refund for this unjust penalty..

• Shopping Tip : It is great and saves time to go down the elevator and Robinsons is just a few meters away. For the Staff Performance, I am giving a 4 to the Personnel who pried open our suitcase and helped to fix the handle, for the Personnel who gave us a cord after Reception informed us they have no cord or did not want to be bothered with such mundane Problems like a cord to secure our suitcase(our suitcase got partly damaged on its way from Manila to Caticlan with then Asian Spirit). I guess when one works at a busy reception day-in day-out, one becomes calloused to the needs of their guests. So for the Reception Personnel, I give them a Rating of 2. They should go to a refreshing course on how to be more helpful to their guests.

Staff were good, Breakfast was also excellent. The hotel in general is not bad.

Very close to the shopping malls. Clean rooms Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Its a bit ex Check in and Check out took so long. Water temp. in shower doesn't seem to be consistent, it could be very cold in 1min. and very hot in a few seconds, you seem to be mixing taps more that showering.

• Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel i Above Robinson Mall, you find everything in this mall from Clothes to Food and good restaurants, no need to make a journey anywhere, you can also walk it to the SM Mega Mall, the Hotel concierge told us it would be 15-20mins walk but it was only 8mins.max. Will surely stay there again.

This is a big fancy hotel that is attached to a mall so it is a busy place. The check-in process was slow and some of the staff not too friendly. My room was on the small side for a 4 star, but it did have huge windows with a nice nightime view.

Hotel is attached to a large mall so convenient. Great breakfast buffet. Lots of amenities.

Expensive and room was just alright. Slow check-in. Some staff mot too friendly.

• Shopping Tip : There is many different places to eat in the food courts of the mall and an internet cafe on the bottom floor of the mall.

Overall a nice reasonable place to stay. A little drive from the airport, but everything is with the traffic there. The staff was attentive, and the buffet for breakfast was better than average at the price range. Shopping convienance also noted. Poorly sealed shower leaked tons of water but not a bad place to stay at the price point.

I liked it, it was clean. the bar and the restaurant was fine and don't forget to enjoy the free breakfast, it was good and the value of money was fine, and the staff were helpful. I found a taxi driver, and I rent him on a per hour basis and paid him 250 per hour.

I travel a lot and I always stay in a hotel and most of the time, me together with my husband stay in a nice hotel because we want comfort in our trips and relaxations. I have a collection of the key cards of the hotels we've stayed in our trips and of course, I have Holiday Inn, Ortigas' remembrance...it's a very nice hotel and what I loved the most is their buffet breakfast. We didn't expected that it would be so much and good...I would stay again in Holiday Inn next time I visit PI.

Best features of Holiday Inn: clean, peaceful, bigger rooms, fast elevators, awesome breakfast, good location.

The bed was a little old already and too soft because of over using it, maybe...bed needs to be replaced....but once replaced, the hotel is perfect for stay...

2nd stay Guest Rating: 4.7

I decided to continue my stay, the rooms are well kept in good condition though they are decorated in old style. The bathrooms are big and nice, the weak point is on privacy because the room I got is in the corner so the windows of next door is just on the right of my bed, and the sound of them closing the door is very loud.

• Travel tip : Many malls in Manila can be reached easily by MRT.

Hotel location is superb, the shopping mall is next door and there are plenty of nice restaurants. Traffic in the area is OK, you also can go to Green Hill mall which is very near for more restaurants and spa. Shangrila mall and Mega mall also very near. If you are bored of Traffic Jam in Makati, Ortigas Area is a good choice.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the MRT also can be reached by a short walk, so you can explore Manila in a short time.
