Couples Australia, November 22, 2008	Room Comfortable but Narrow We liked the location, the friendly staff, the lobby, the bathroom and the beds. 7 We were hoping at last to find our ideal mid-price hotel in Malate. Despite Hostel 1632 having many positive features, the long narrow rooms looked cramped. Shopping Tip: Quite close to Robinson's Mall

Its proximity to nearby Dept. of Justice/Supreme Court and PGH is only a walking distance away. Hotel staff is always there to assist you and ready to yell a taxi cab for you. The hotel is loaded with modern facilities and aminities. It is best suited for a traveling young couples and profesionals alike. Lastly, you can savour the scenery of the sunset of Manila Bay right next to the hotel. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Casino Filipino is very near and inviting.

Equipment of the rooms is okay. 6.3 The hotel has a really good location, the staff is nice and the rooms are really clean. Unfortunately it lacks comfort because our room had no outside-window, the air-condition was weak and loud and the bathroom has no fan. In my eyes it's a bit too expensive for what you get - but that's Manila...

All amenities in. 9 This is a great hostel, right in the heart of Manila. Newly built and clean. It is easy to spot, it's right across Rothmann's Inn and Pan Pacific, and beside the Chinese Temple. It has its own excellent Italian and Japanese restaurants. It's also very close to many great restaurants in Manila. Walking distance to Robinsons Place mall, and Roxas Boulevard. Restaurant Tip: Look for Hap Chang Tea House along Malvar (Dakota) Street. Great Chinese food.
Martin H. Couples Switzerland, October 25, 2008	Swiss visitors to the Philippines Clean. Friendly personnel. 8 Hostel 1632 was recommended to us by friends. We had stayed in Makati before but were looking for somewhere less expensive. As we have a house in Sibuyan in the Visayas we need to do quite a lot of shopping and are out during the day and for this reason do not need a large room. The Hostel is ideally situated near Robinsons Mall to find anything and everything. There are many good restaurants located nearby. A disadvantage are the street vendors. The rooms are small but clean and the refrigerator, nice and cold and full. The personnel are very friendly and helpful which we appreciate. We have stayed with you three times and will be back in three weeks and looking forward to our stay.

Solo travelers Afghanistan, October 18, 2008	right price for the money Clean, staff friendly. 6 Room is nice and clean, the only complaint I had was it is very small, and the TV is too small, the bed is hard, and I don't think the sheet was clean and reused. The towel in the bathroom was all worn, and no soap and shampoo provided. It was good for less than 24 hours, or stop over.

The taxi early morning is caught easily. 7 It was walked to the petorogill station for a few minutes walking to the Robinson store, good 15 minutes and conditions of location, there were a lot of shops of the night, too and there were as many as two favorite hap-Chang restaurants within three minute Nightlife Tip: The public peace that is cheap, and has a good location is a merit.
