Everything. Security is great, staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and the showers are awesome
In the heart of nightlife in Malate, near the US Embassy, near the Mall of Asia, great location, great hotel.

wonderful staff, clean hotel, attentive bell men
As this hotel is not in the safest neighborhood, you basically stay on property or take a taxi to a safer environment. All staff members were attentive, spoke English well and appear to take much pride in delivering their best services. The spa was great and hours were convenient.
Shopping Tip : For faux fashion items, go to Green Hills..about a 40 minute ride from hotel.

Comfortable room; great breakfast included; clean; pool is nice; staff friendly
the smelly river that you must past to get to your room. Mosquitos!
This is my second time staying here, and would so again. I can get over the smelly river that runs through the complex.
Travel tip : Don't leave the doos open for long period. Mosquitoes will enter.

Casino, near 7-11, nice room,
Internet have to pay, a bit expensive
Probably, I will not stay here if I am going with my own expenses. It is quite expensive where you can get 2-3 nights in 3 star hotel. But of course, with the price you paid, you get what you want. But the TV signal.. is out. Maybe because of the storm..
Hotel Feature Tip : Casino.

Excellent location, Gym, restaurant, counter service
The Hyatt Casino in Manila is a great place to stay providing that one is not on a budget. The locations is close to Robinsons Mall - a newly refurbished shopping center with grocery store and is only a short 2 blocks from hotel. The pool and gym of the hotel are top rated and well staffed. The buffet meals albeit a bit pricey is great. The menu and variety of items is very good.
Shopping Tip : Watch out for the beggars while walking to the mall. Just tell them NO!!

I enjoyed the selections of beverages in the mini bar, the room was nicely arranged. Furthermore, the hotel security was very courteous to guest and visitors.
The lobby needs some improvement, in order for the hotel guest to meet their friends and relatives.
Staying at Hyatt Casino Hotel Manila was a good experience, although it would be nice if breakfast would be included, plus valet parking would not be automatically charge Pesos 100.00 every time you leave the hotel. In regards to food i was a bit disappointed especially the type of beef that was used into the dish that was mixed in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A nice fine filipino restaurant called Aristocrat Restaurant and Max's Restaurant. The nearby nightlife restaurant, and convenient 7-11 store to purchase personal hygiene items.

Had very clean and very big rooms with a good view. Staff was very polite and food was excellant.
There are only 7 days in a week.
The hotel was very reasonably priced and was worth every penny. The beds were very nice along with EVERYTHING in the bathroom, great linens and every thing you could ever need or imagine, from a hair dryer to a news lufa sponge. Very nice time and everything you need is there.
Hotel Feature Tip : There is obviously a casino here, but just outside the doors less than two city blocks is a shopping center and many resturaunts. Very good for the money.

The hotel has excellent facilities and has good overall standards. The staff are helpful and pleasant to deal with. This is the best hotel I have ever used in my 20 visits to Manila.
Malate is a little out of the way if you are not planning to visit the immediate vicinity. This is something to consider a city riddled with traffic jams if time is important to you
The hotel is extremely well run and has good facilities. I used the restaurant, the room service, the gymnasium and the bar - all came up to a high standard and were comparable with the best hotels in the world. Malate is also an interesting area too - less glitzy than Makati, but a good area for restaurants, bars and nightlife. You do not have to go far to find JJ Nakpil which is a good area. Wholly recommended even if it does cost a little more than most in Manila.
Nightlife Tip : Head to JJ Nakpil Street for bars and restaurants - for all ages!

swimming pool and bathroom
The restaurant menu looked delicious - except the main course which I fancied came with mashed potatoes. I cannot abide mashed potatoes. I asked the waitress if the mash could be replaced with another kind of potato. I said I was ok with boilesd, baked, jacket, roast, chipped, saute or sardalaise. What did the waitress come back with? She said the chef said they would do me potato gratin. Basically mash with cheese. What the....? I think I gave the chef a reasonable choice but he refused to accomodate me. I walked out. Sack the chef and you have the perfect hotel
I cannot conceive of a better hotel in the Hyatt's price range. The room is large and elegant with plenty of storage space. And the bathrom has to be seen to be believed.
The location, whilst fine for me - i have been to Manila before, would not suit everyone. There are no quality restaurants within walking distance and the sleazy bars in the vicinity will not appeal to everyone. Sensitive souls would be advised to hotel in the business district of Makati. There is the large Robinsons mall nearby however.
I am a keen swimmer and was very impressed with the very large pool which is roped to separate the serious swimmers from the mere frolickers. Other hotels take note.
I cannot commend this hotel too highly. Its just a shame the arrogant chef let the side down. The rest of the staff were charming but I have to knock off one star for staff performance because of the intransigent attitude displayed by the chef.
Travel tip : catch the sunset on Manila Bay

The Bathroom was great - lovely shower room, with bath.
Good room service, and professional staff.
We had to wait to check-in, even though there were plenty of employees
The neighborhood around the hotel was not very inviting, so we didn't even end up leaving the hotel.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The check-in took a few extra minutes, but it wasn't a big deal. They made you feel safe with taxi checks when you drive in. The room service was good (try the club sandwich), and the chocolate show was amazing - the earl grey truffles were delicious. We lost at the poker table, but that was just our luck....
I would definitely recommend it, it's up to international standards, and left us with no excuse to even leave the hotel for our 1 day stay in manila.
Hotel Feature Tip : casino.

Include Breakfast with room rate
Starting with courteous Front Desk Staff, efficient and smart wait staff at the Market Restaurant and courteous and helpful bell staff and all other supporting staff, my stay at the Hotel was memorable one. Clean and good looking service staff is a big plus for any service industry. I was impressed with the cleanliness of all facilities in the hotel. The key system was noticeable and this is the hotel I have seen so far to access elevators with room key - feel lot safer.
