convinient location. 5 min walk to metro star mrt, 10 min walk to shangrila plaza, 15 min walk to SM Megamall
cant think of anything bad, only thing i recall is that during my stay, i had to call room every afternoon to clean the room, which they did immediately.
Its quite a new hotel. The room is clean and comofrtable. There is cooking facility in the room and able to prepare simple food. Its near the Ortegas shoping area. Its quite conviniet to get in and out of these hotel. the guards called in taxi for all my travelling and i just walked to the near by shangrila plaza for meals and movies. McDonalds is 3 min away. There is a nice bar on the penthhouse where drinks and finger food is served. there is also room service available at a resonable price.
Shopping Tip : megamall is 15 walk away. about 50 peso taxi ride. lots of bargain in SM inside megamall. while in shang plaza, its the higher end mall.

room was clean, modern, and cozy.
When i ask to taxi drivee to go to lancaster hotel, they didn't know where this hotel exists and how to go. I had to ask to police officer the way how to go the hotel. Room was little bit small. Breakfast buffet did not include various kinds of food.
If you stay few hours in mandaluyong or ortigas hotel, i think this hotel price is affordable. You can also cook the food by using dining tools in the hotel room. You can reach to edsa shangri-la mall and hotel within 10 minutes by foot. However, it could be difficult to find a hotel if you don't have the map which includes hotel location.

I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and willing to attend to matters promptly ie when the aircon started dripping over the head of the bed.
The front door personnel particularly were pleasant and attentive.
You get what you pay for but having said this, the attitude of the staff was excellent.
I would definitely stay here again. Getting a taxi can take some time but hey, build it into your schedule. Breakfast was basic but adequate and I often went back for seconds. It pays to get a business card from the front desk to show taxi drivers when returning to the hotel. Overall, this is a hotel I would have no hesitation about returning to. The coffee shop restaurant is very adequate and the swimming pool on the rooftop is clean and well supervised. Also on the rooftop is a bar/nightclub where the food is ok and the music likewise.
