Close to the action. Friendly staff. Surprisingly clean.

Smell. Loud a/c. Room Layout. Windows not do not shut thight. Internet fee extremaly high. Only 1 elevator.

Once I left the lobby after checking in I noticed ugly smell starting in the elevator and becoming worse when the elevator reached 4th floor. When opening the room there was the typical a/c smell coming from cooling units 30 years old. The ugly interior and terrible room layout with massive pillar in the room did not improve the second impression. Not enough space. Shower curtain is not hygienic and sticking to the body. Expensive internet access, charge is 240 Pesos/hour while the typical nearby internet cafe charges 20 Pesos/h. Advertised rates at the outside of the hotel are fake.

Good location

Some dirty and smelly places outside the hotel

I have stayed in this hotel many times before and I like it because of the location which is near a major shopping mall and a short walk away from Manila Bay. The rooms are basic but it is sufficient for me. Some maintenance is badly needed for some of the rooms for basic things like taps and showers.

The hotel is well located in Malate; near Manila Bay as well as the Robunson shopping mall.

The hotel can do more about maintaining the standard of the rooms. There were a few things in my room that needed maintenance/repair.

I like to stay at the Las Palmas because of its good location. It is within walking distance to Manila Bay as well as a major shopping center. However, the rooms itself needs some maintenance work done. In general, it is my opinion that the hotel needs to renovate many of its rooms. The lobby is pleasant.

Clean rooms, all appliances were working well. very accessible to entertainment areas and malls. near the airport. efficient staff. Hotel was secure as there were surveillance cameras to ensure customer safety.

saw some baby cockroaches in the room. Lacked some kitchen utensils. Needs a mat for the bathtub.

Our stay at Las Palmas Hotel was very pleasant. Their staff was very efficient in accommodating my room request. The room was clean although i did see two baby cockroaches. Room appliances were working very well. Housekeeping staff was also very efficient. The hotel is situated near to Robinson's Mall so it was very convenient. A lot of restaurants and entertainment areas were near the hotel. Hotel is also near the airport so the taxi fare was not expensive at all. Jeepney transportation is accessible. Hotel is near to several convenience stores. Hotel security was very safe, as there were surveillance cameras to monitor hallways.

Travel tip : Taxi fare from hotel to airport would only cost you around 100-120. When booking through Agoda, make sure that your special requests are stated in your booking form/voucher so that the hotel staff can immediately accommodate your request.

This hotel location is very good, close to robinson's place and bar area.

there was no window which i can open...

This hotel location is good, 1 minute walking distance to robinson's place and also close to bars and karaoke place, but rooms are very small, so i cannot recommend this hotel to family travelers, i would recommend this hotel to solo traveler. If you are smoker, it is almost impossible to vetilate, so you have to sleep in smoke...

location, airport distance, room rates.

internet expensive, lack of complimentary shower products.

Over all for the rate that I paid for the room it was a steal. The room was clean and the location was great. The shopping mall was within 5 min walking distance. the NAIA was within 20 min driving and the nightlife was all around along with restaraunts. I would refer this hotel if you are a budgety type of person such as myself.

the hotel is quite near to the airport. it,s accessible to vehicles. we can easily get into a taxi or jeepneys once outside the hotel. it,s near to robinsons plaza, only walking distance. it,s also near to some tourist areas. the place where the hotel is, is safe to walk around even at night time. many restaurants and some small eateries are surrounding the place. it's also near the us embassy.

when asked about the streamer they placed outside about their roomrate, the personnel just said," it's the rate last month". Why didn't they take that off. it's misleading.

overall observation: the hotel is quite good enough as to its rate and accommodation. Only we suggest that the internet connection should already be included in the hotel room rate. the place where the hotel is located is near to malls and restaurants. the place is safe to walk around unlike some places in metromanila.

Location, cleanliness, staff appearnce and good attitude towards visitors

Constant disturbance by homeless people outside the hotel entrance

The hotel was excellent in terms of location near shopping mall, restaurants, entertainment centers, beach. All these mentioned things are within walking distances which is a welcome news to tourists in light of horrible traffic congestion. The room rate was excellent for all the amenities the excellent staff provided. The staff were neat in appearance and most of them were very polite when asked any question. Overall, i will recommend the hotel to any one visiting the area for one reason or the other.

Travel tip : Very close to shopping and entertainments centers and restaurants. The security was excellent especially as there were people trying to take advantage of tourists constantly

The rooms were generally clean. The bellboys were friendly. It was very close to Robinson's Plaza.

The receptionists need to be more friendly when welcoming their guests.

I reserved 2 rooms on August 10th.During the check-in, I had to wait 30 minutes for reconfirmation. It was a little bit noisy at night with all the vehicles honking.

Hotel Feature Tip : The rooms were narrow but comfotable enough.

Hotel Staff are hospitable. Location of Hotel was superb with nearby walking distance to clubs, malls, eatery..just about anything. Also found the area safe. Most importantly the cost to stay was very affordable.

Generally, I have no complains for the price that I have paid.

The staff from front desk, doorman, bell boys to housekeeping were very accomodating. I found the staff very willing to answer any queries I had, especially for the fact that it is my first visit to Manila...and it will definitely not be my last. I would recommend Las Palmas to all my Singaporean friends.

Restaurant Tip : Restaurants are lined up to savour your every need.

good value for money

some rooms without window

I stayed in Las Palmas a few times in the last month. initially in a room without an outside window. during my last visit i got a room with an outside window. in some rooms there are only a few electricity plugs which makes it difficult to work on a laptop, moreover the room is not really suited for working on a computer for a long time (table/chairs). Besides work it is quite ok, near the airport and shopping centres and bar areas.

Clean, bright and tidy lobby. Most amenities in tact for a budget hotel e.g. coffee-house, minibar, several tv channels, aircon, hotwater, belldesk etc...

roaches in room!!! given a noisy room.

Stayed there for 2 nights.Made an internet booking in advance however was given a room beside another room under-going renovation, how sad...was noisy enough to give me a headache and a constant nuisance. Found roaches crawling around the room. Staff were friendly and security was good. Overall was just average.

Nightlife Tip : Huge shopping mall is just around the corner (robinsons) minutes away from all kinds of clubs and restaurants. No worries about transport as cabs and jeepneys are just outside of the hotel.
