Great Stay Guest Rating: 4.3

It is our second stay here, the first was only a night, but this time we stayed here for 6 consecutive nights. We liked the hotel the first time we stayed so we didnt hesitantly booked this hotel again. However, on our second time stay, even though we booked the same room ( 1 bedroom suite), this time the room given to us wasnt that large as before and also it was not facing EDSA, so the view is a bit disappointing. But even so, we had a great stay, the location is great because it is located in the middle of the ortigas center, the staff are all friendly and helpful, except for one instance that it took 30min to ask for a paracetamol.

Location is at the center of shopping malls, restaurants and banks. Service is excellent and guards are friendly.

Food (breakfast) is soso and variety is less especially for those who are vegetarians.

Rooms are spacious, every part are clean. Very presentable unit to entertain guests & family members. Security is awesome, can't compare to the hotel security & safety in most five star hotels in the USA.

Internet access is so pricy, I'd rather go out & rent a unit to access the web.

The hotel was not as fancy as other 4 star hotels I've stayed at, but the staff was very friendly and my room was huge and nicer than the other hotels I stayed (e.g. Holiday Inn Galeria). Breakfast was very nice.

Friendly staff, huge nicely appointed room, great value for money. Clean, safe, quiet location.

The hotel building is not as fancy as other 4 star hotels and does not have as many amenities.

• Shopping Tip : The Mega Mall is a short 10 minute walk away. It's just average though by Manila standard, but convenient.

Nice Stay at the Linden Suites Guest Rating: 4.5

The hotel is in the financial district. It is also near several large malls that are within walking distance. I roamed around Manila and most taxi costs were no more then 250 pesos (about 6 dollars). The carpet in the room looked like it could use steam cleaning or replacement. It was a dark color so it just might be the coloring. In most hotel lobbies in the states usually you can find tons of information on local points of interests or tours. This hotel I didn't see anything like that so I ended up doing internet searchs for tour companies.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Internet access in the room. It had a deep bath tub. Room service was available until 11pm. I was on the go alot so sometimes I didn't eat dinner until late.

The Room could use more lighting. There were several desk lamps and a main hallway light. However a main light in the room would illuminate the room better at night. A microwave in the room would have been nice. With the shower you need to be able to step up fairly high to get into it.

I will always try to stay at Linden when in Manila. Its far from the airport but what isn't? The people and service are outstanding. They usually upgrade me if they can even if I don't ask. The food is usually pretty good but not the tuna. Rooms are clean and spacious (unlike Richmonde) and the showers are hot and the pressure is just right. You can't go wrong staying at Linden.

Service is topnotch. Security is too topnotch.

Uptight security.

• Hotel Feature Tip : 24 hour mini mart next door is great for buying cheap snacks to replace the expensive stuff you consumed in room mini bar.

I guess the place is beyond compared. Its great and its not expensive. People will definitely enjoy the place. The food isnt bad at all. They are friendly and accomodating. Its near the mall and to all business centers in the area. Traffic not too bad. I would suggest the place to my friends as well.Thanks to Agoda.

housekeeping people are not trained to greet their guests. I guees, thats one thing I dont like about.

FAR from airport but so is the rest of the business district. The beds, pillows and comforters are what make this hotel. There are cracks in the paint in some places but didn't bother me much. The food there is excellent but pricey. When you go out at night the security guards will jot down everything they can about the cab you get in. Only negative is their intrusive security. They have metal detectors so why do they need to pry into my things when I go in? THIS COULD BE A FACTOR IN SWITCHING HOTELS SOMEDAY.

Desk staff are tough to beat. They'll upgrade you if you're nice and they have rooms available.

Security a little bit intrusive. I'm paying to stay there- they should give me a discount voucher for looking in my bags for a gun or bomb. Got a little irritated with this last week because they know me and I've stayed there a dozen times yet they still insisted on going through my stuff.

Linden Suites is in a great location (across from SM Mega malls and a short walk from St Francis Square). It is a safe area, not in a very touristy spot of Manila. The staff made you feel welcome and accommodated every request we had. The buffet breakfast was pretty good too- lots of variety that changed slightly each day. We got an upgrade and were given a two-bedroom Suite, which was great. A great spot to stay if you want to shop!

Got it cheap, location good for Malls, couple of good restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Room service was delicious.

Tired, in need of updating. Indoor pool was not very inviting.

• Shopping Tip : St. Francis Square inside is similar to Greenhills- but less hectic!

Our stay at Linden was over all nice; specially the people who are serving the buffet breakfast. My husband recommended one of the staff named Charisma who was really accommodating to us during our 9 days visit. I would say that the security personnel are also nice. My husband says we will stay on this hotel again on our next visit.

The room that we get to stay at are nice and clean. The staff at buffet breakfast are all very nice and very accommodating.

My husband order food and drinks at the restaurant but when the staff delivered to him there is no drink and we were charged. But it was corrected when I complained about it.

• Shopping Tip : Just a walking distance to SM Mega mall and Shangrila Edsa and Podium.

Hotel room was very clean and smelled good. The bed is comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a nice gymn and pool that you can use. They have a spa. There's a convenience store next door for your basic needs. The major shopping centers are just 2 blocks away, a 10 minute walk.

Breakfast buffet was very good; but selection could use some variety.

• Travel tip : It may be hard to get a taxi from the main entrance. Better to use hotel taxi. Rates are reasonable. Security and reliability a great plus.
