Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi

I was not able to bring in some bottles of beer (only beers in can are allowed)

I was once a guest of a friend who checked in before. I really liked the place especially the pool and jacuzzi. So, I wonder what it's like to be there overnight. First time that I celebrated my birthday in a hotel/suite. It was fun, and I get to relax in the pool and jacuzzi, especially because it's really rare that there are other people dipping there. I will definitely go back for a longer stay next time. Cheers!

Linden is nice hotel, very convenient to walk to the mall and other business centers near the area.

the manager isnt good to talk with. he cant even help us during our stay.

I have nothing against this hotel, in fact its my best choice among other hotels in manila. The staff are nice and courteous. However, in our recent stay in the hotel, I was requesting for at least 3 bedrooms so I can allow my driver to sleep there also. I thought I will be assisted well, but I felt dismayed as they never even complied to my request. I hope that the management of Linden suites will be able to track our records, so they can also give incentives to their guest who are frequently staying there. besides, I always rate them high. This time, I will have a second thought.

Hotel Feature Tip : be sure you can talk to the Manager and make himself available whenever there is a request from the guests.

Great looking rooms nicely kept. flat screen tv ipod connection with dvd player. good location. great service. also very safe.

more choices of food on menu. the food they had was very good. but i found myself ordering out sometimes.

i like it and would recommend it. i have stayed there twice in the past two months. very nice.

Shopping Tip : check out the st francis square lots of good deals

I'v been staying at Linden for 5 times already during past 2 yrs. The hotel is very good n suitable for its price.

Front desk works too slow.. too too slow n it's never improve since I first visited.

Very accommodating, polite and courteous staff, good location, nice place, very nice and clean rooms.

Hotel lobby was small but anyway not a big deal

We stayed comfortably in Linden Suites, surely I will book again on this hotel when I go back to Manila. Very nice room, good facilities, good service, I don't have any unpleasant experience. I thanked Agoda for this.

Shopping Tip : Walking distance to SM Megamall and Shangrila Plaza, 5 minute taxi ride to Robinsons Galleria. Nice location, ATM's, banks, restaurants from local to continental and others of your choice.

The Hotel is clean, the reception is quite friendly. The swimming pool is great as well as the breakfast.

the car service is very very expensive to go to the airport

I have booked with Agoda a 1 bed-room after having read carefully the comments from other guests. Arriving in the Hotel, I have been immediately pleased with the receptioon and in particualr with 2 gentlemen. They are quite friendly and help us all information about the area. The good thing is thay upgraded me to the 2 bed-room which is quite convenient and spacious. We have tried the swiming pool which is quite confortable and rather well designed. The breakfast is good and the service is quite friendly. There is a Mega Shopping Center just 5 min walk away and we can find lot of things and food.

Rooms were clean and ambiance was very good. Staff were friendly

Buffet breakfast was ordinary compared to Discovery Suites. It would have been better if there were more choices of food.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Linden Suites because we were upgraded to two bedroom suite instead of one as we had booked with the agency due to non availability of room. My husband and I were hesitant but the hotel staff assured us that there will be not extra fee. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Excellent service and on a major street so it is easy to locate. Free breakfast and reasonably affordable.

Small property so not a lot of room to move around in the lobby.

Overall, Linden Suites is a great value. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. Views from the room (if one can get them) facing the street are spectacular of the area. The service is consistently friendly, courteous, and willing to assist. I would recommend staying in this hotel if you want a good value and clean accommodations while not spending too much money.

Hotel Feature Tip : Try to get a view facing the street. It overlooks the Ortigas/Pasig area and is a great way to see Manila. Other views may have you facing another building.

Linden is best. Near megamall and we usually stay in this hotel. Even if you pay for executive if there no available rooms, they will put you in a suite with the same rate. Its a cozy place, perfect.

I dont see any weaknesses of the hotel, the food are great and staff are very friendly.

I usually go to manila and do some business there. I cant find a good hotel where its near to malls and other offices until I saw this hotel and since then I have been booking my stay in Linden. In fact, I have been recommending this hotel to some of my friends who wish to visit the Philippines. Sometimes, I would have my family or just my husband with me. As if we are having our honeymoon again. I will definitely recommend Linden. Food and staff are great. Not heavy traffic, taxis are everywhere and safe place.

Hotel Feature Tip : Try to consider the security and safety of the place. It is best to consider the location of hotel.

The room is very spacious and the bed is very relaxing

The buffet selection is very limited

One of the best getways for a weekend getaway ..You will feel relaxed with the ambiance and the very comfortable bed and pillows, you will feel right at home. With the security of the hotel, you will not have to worry about anything.

-convenient location (near the malls in Ortigas Center) -suites include living room and kitchenette -free parking -breakfast -health club and the pool (one indoor and one outdoor)

-Although there was no mention of it when we booked the rooms, the hotel required a PHP2,000 deposit when you register (to cover possible incidental expenditures) -bed only had a duvet, which requires one to keep the air conditioning running full blast if you use the duvet -check out is a bit slow -- they make you wait until someone goes to check to make sure you didn't eat any of the in-room treats or steal the towels

We enjoyed our stay at the Linden Suites. Very nice room, good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. As an example, when the staff saw that we'd removed the filling from the duvet and used the cover as a sheet, the next day they left a top sheet in the room for us. It's an easy walk to the Shangra La mall, the SM Megamall, the Podium, and the other malls. Parking is in the basement with easy access via an elevator. Also an interesting historical plaque on the wall in the lobby about the hotel's role in the demise of the Marcos regime. We will definitely recommend the Linden Suites to our friends.

Smoking Floor

When I got there, I was advised that a non-smoking room was no longer available. However, they were able to manage this problem by upgrading my room to a 1 bedroom suite (in a smoking floor). Good thing was they offered to ionize the room if the smell becomes unbearable. Service was really great, the staff were friendly and attentive to my needs. The LCD TV was great too! Overall, Linden was one of the best places I've stayed in. The hotel has a very "executive" feel to it and the room was very neat and comforting. Prices are very reasonable given the quality and comfort the place could give customers even for a night or so.

Good Breakfast

Poor customer service, expensive for an old hotel.

I stayed for 8 days, the hotel does not honor a visa debit card. make sure you have cash when you check in as they require a deposit for miscellaneous expenses even if your stay is already paid through the internet. The securuty is over the top that you feel not welcome even if you are already stayed for a week, it's like the airport security check everytime you come in. I was put on a smoking room even if I requested a non smoking room a week before my arrival. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Shopping Tip : 10 min walk to SM Mega Mall shopping centre

It's very clean as a 3 star or 4 star hotel, service is good except the front desk lady manager not flexible and very unfriendly.

The front desk lady manager is not flexible in servicing the guests and very unfriendly. Also need to increase none smoking floors and rooms as now a day people are more health conscious and aware of the environment.

I am happy with the cleanliness of the room and the service, although I reserve the none smoking room and the twin beds a week before I arrived, but they were not able to get the room we wanted when we arrive; we did not hassle the front desk about this, we just bear with it and stayed the smoking room which they arranged for us. But not until the last day when we were checking out; we were very disappointed with the front desk lady manager/supervisor; she wanted us to pay for the umbrella we borrowed as we left it at my husband home in Manila, my husband said he will send it to her on the very day, she refused to excepted our explanation. We understand this is the hotel policy and of course we didn’t mind to pay for it, but we were really not happy with the way she talked, especially when I highlighted about my reservation of the none smoking and twin beds room and they were not able to booked it for us, she were not happy and just won’t looked at me when she explained. I hope the hotel will look into these areas and improve them, because I travel to Manila very often and always look forward for a better hotel in Manila.

security excellent, Swimming pool on the 9th Floor. The mega mall only 10 minutes walk,great for all round shopping. The rooms- Suites have small kitchen, dnning room Lounge , Bathroom and Bedrooms. All in good order. Housekeeping each day. Privacy excellent. Everything was very clean & fresh. If you have your own laptop you pay extra for connection in your room. Desk in room with lamp, Television in Lounge, and bedrooms , safe in room no extra cost for the safe. Fridge has drinks of all kinds and some complimentary water. Note fresh fruit eg: Orange and 2 bananas with a little flower. Flower left in the bathroom ( nice touch by housekeeping.) reception staff and all staff very pleasent all try hard to please you the client. This is my forth visit in 12 months. On the forth floor is a business centre were you can access a computer and internet and print and fax items etc, open till 10pm. at a little extra cost. The breakfast Buffet is excellent and complimentary (look out for the head server, who is called Rommel he does an excellent Job in making sure you have a great breakfast be sure to say hi , from Mr Rose from England. The bedrooms are comfortable with Aircon in all rooms to ensure you have a great stay. The rooms are fully furnished. There is a shop next door to the hotel for your small food and other items and banks and A.T.M. machines close by. I hope this has been helpful. P.S. I had booked a non smoking 1 bedroomed suite. As they only had a non smoking 2 bedroomed suite available , they upgraded me to a 2 bedroomed suite at no extra cost. 99 cable channells on the Television , great for kids and adults. I arrived at 11 am, there was no problem with them giving me the room early , as there was one available.

Its expensive to stay their, but cheaper to book through agoda. If fact I stayed 2 nights this time and saved 40 Dollars per night. Total $80 U.S dollar saving on two nights. It costs 560 peso per day extra for internet internet access in your room if you have your own laptop with you. The meals- food in the restaurant on the second floor is excellent and the staff very nice , you get the breakfast included but the food is expensive for lunch and evening meals and room service and it would be cheaper to eat out. The food for room service is provided by the same restaurant and so is expensive also. However if you have saved money through booking with Agoda , then there is extra money to spend somewhere else. Linden suite transport very expensive. Get taxi outside, the door man will call one for you.

In the pros, I think I have included a good breakdown of some of the services. When I am in Manila, I have always stayed at The Lindens Suites because of its Location to shops and banks etc and because of its great comfort. Its like having your own apartment which provides all the comforts of home. it's a great meeting point for business and pleasure. Its has its own swimming pool and health centre as well as a business centre and it also has rooms you can book for training and seminars. Its comfrotable and homely in the middle of a big city and the staff all do there Jobs well to provide you with the very best of service. The Hotel has two tower blocks together and about 27 floors we stayed on the 22nd floor with great views in a corner apartment in the block with the main entrance. Which I prefer of the two blocks. The other block seems slightly more modern.There is a walk bridge into the other building. You can walk up to the restaurant from reception or go up in the lift. There is a meeting area with chairs on the left and right of reception area, with security in the Middle has you come through the front entrance. On friday and saturday nights I have stayed there when they have had entertainment in the restaurtant ,but generally mid week there is no entertainment. There may not be any entertainment at the weekends. There is a bar next too the restaurant and a large screen television for those who like a drink with friends . The Linden suites have their own transport for the airport or other destinations however they are at least 3 times more expensive than a taxi hailed from outside the Hotel. There is a drive in ramp to the hotel entance from the main road , the door man will be very happy to hail you a taxi and have it come up the ramp for you. As most taxi have a liquid gas tank in the boot or rear of their cars ,if you have several cases paying a little extra for a metered mini van is a better option.

Shopping Tip : A visit to the mega mall a must for your shopping bargins and gifts to take home.
