Nice Hotel lovely rooms and great service.
Makati Palace Hotel is very convienient for shopping and experiencing the night life.

On my visits to Manila I try to use the Makati Palace Hotel. The price is reasonable for a good quality Hotel in the heart of the Busines area. I also have friends living there, so it is easy to meet up and spend time together.
Nightlife Tip:
The area around the Makati Palace is hectic but tends to be safe.

stayed here for two nights with friends. the front desk staff was always curtious and ready to help with all of our requests. great location for manila nightlife. not far from m.o.a. either, just a short / cheap cab ride away. all around a great place to stay!

Disappointed about the room quality

we are just disappointed about the room that we got ( suppose to be a deluxe )
the room look old , furniture are old too and the lighting is very poor
Don t have any flat screen tv, no safe and no free internet
i stay in differente hotel in manilla on the same location for the same price, hotel that provide best room....
just want to try this historic hotel :(

Careful of the front desk staff

I've stayed at this hotel several times and this last time it became apparent that the front desk staff is always trying to up sell.
Nightlife Tip:
Burgos street is slowly dying for nightlife. Better to go to another more exciting area of the the Philippines if its nightlife you're after.

very comfortable stay, room clean and tidy, however internet service was average to slow speed, never consistant .. and expensive. staff very helpful and friendly, never a problem for help with bookings or transport. check out very slow, seemd computor systems are very aged and have seperate systems running so information not shared easily. location not for children.
Restaurant Tip:
great american style diner 'pit stop' just up from hotel on other side of road. small door downstairs, yet upstairs seating for 80. great burgers and breakfasts. also matrix cafe on opposite corner to hotel is good for coffee and snacks (spicy beef) and people watching.

This is very good hotel right in the middle of town. Get in get out easier a lot of shop around and that a lot of bar and drink too. The room is very good clean and good service. Breakfast a lot of choice internet provided with pay in advance.
