Friendly service

Good price, great location as it's close to everything and very easy to get a taxi.
8.3
this is my fourth time staying at this hotel. i choose it for a few reasons. it's close to everything, rockwell is literally a 2 minute cab ride. you have tones of choices to eat, and all within walking distance. the price for the hotel is very cheap for being in makati which makes it easy on my wallet. everyone there is always very helpful and nice, front desk, security and the food staff. i also got a massage once a day which was great and decent price! the only issue i had was my key kept not working and they had to have someone come with me to my room to open my door which was a pain.
Travel tip: It's in the red light district but if you can look past that, there are actually some really good places to eat. Woodmans Irish Bar, and Filling Station are two great places.

I love this hotel...great service and great price.

Whenever I come to Makati, I book my hotel room at Makati Palace Hotel because the price is perfect for a 5 star hotel experience. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are comfortable. The location is great...walking distance to Glorietta and Greenbelt. Highly recommended.
Nightlife Tip: You will enjoy the nightlife in Makati. go out the door and have fun.

You get for what you pay for!

The great advertisement of the hotel was the pricing. The con: the unexpected location for the advertised price.

An average hotel with an affordable pricing. A “nice” place to stay for a short-period with or without a friend, however not an ideal location for a family to visit or a place to take a stroll down the "red-light district" (Burgos Street and around the areas), specially at night. The staff are friendly and very accommodating specially the security staff; door men (civilian attired Security Officers). The housekeeping staff are quick to respond to cleaning the room. However from the check-in date and to the check-out, none of the hotel staff was able to assist me in retrieving my phone messages using my room phone. In over-all, I had a pleasant stay in the hotel with my girlfriend and left with a new perspective of where the “old” Manila hotels are located at and what to expect from a low-pricing advertisements from various travel websites. Would I recommend this hotel to a family or friend? Depending on the purpose of the visit and who will visit the hotel? Would I consider to stay again in the same hotel? Sure!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Sightseeing/Attractions: Be prepared. Bring basic essentials for any trips (water and Gatorade, granola or protein bars, maps, prepaid cell-phone, money, a small hand towel and a pen; preferably a tactical pen with a blunt tip) and plan you route destinations-know where you’re going. There are tons to see and places to go. Leave early in the morning (not too hot) and in the afternoon to avoid heavy traffic of cars and people (very hot). Nightlife tips: unless you’re a single-bachelor looking to “score”, this is the place to be in Manila. However, for someone who isn’t looking to “score” at night, be very careful of the “typical” services offered from the street corner pubs, bars, the street vendors soliciting merchandises and the so-called “masseuses” soliciting for “special” services or massage. Vendors: be aware of the “knock-off” or fake merchandise sold by these irritating and never ending solicitation from street vendors, its not worth buying these merchandise. However, it helps to be polite and be adamant-go to the shopping centers for a better deal. Last but not least, always be aware and vigilant of your surroundings. Have fun and be safe!

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

the room and bath
6.3
the room is clean and quiet, you wouldn't hear too much of the music from the streets. i think the room is cozy enough for two, not too crowded and not too spacious for a couple. it was nice staying in the hotel except for the environment near the hotel where foreigners were often seen drinking. the person i was with even saw a guy near a bar, drunk and shouting which seemed like he was just in a fight at 8am in the morning.
Hotel Feature Tip: I suggest you bring easy to cook meals and buy some mineral waters before you check in.

Good Hotel UNique location

close to several shopping malls
5
the hotel is located in the "red light" district of the philippines, however the hotel is nice but will give you a lower quality room because you booked hotel via website.
Nightlife Tip: There are tons of Adults bars on Burgos the street right in front of the hotel.

Old but cozy hotel

The price of the rooms are somewhat cheaper, considering that the hotel is in makati area.
5.3
At first I was irritated by the frontdesk since they gave me a key which is not yet activated. i had to take the elevator 3 times before it was activated. the frontdesk doesn't know what she is doing. as for the room it's big but old. they have a small display of things to eat but they mark it with for sale. the hotel is a condotel.expect some tenants that are noisy.
Nightlife Tip: this is area is located on the red light district of makati so be careful when you are walking on the streets. some petty crimes might arise if you'll bring your personal belongings like gadgets, jewelries, money on the vicinity of the hotel. just take an extra care.

The hotel was very nice overall however they will give you a low quality room because of booking through this website
Nightlife Tip: The hotel is located in the heart of the "red light" district in the Philippines
