Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Very friendly staff, spacious clean rooms, good room service, perfect location directly in the hard of Makati. Excellent value for money.
This *** Hotel is situated directly in the heart of Makati at P.Burgos Str. The Hotel is from The early 80th but has its own charm, is clean with spacious rooms and very frienly staff. There is a pool, a spa and a karaoke/bar and a japanese restaurants that is ok. I can definately recommend this Hotel
Travel tip : Try the "Alba" restaurant in Polaris Str near by the hotel. Charming, cozy spanisch restaurant The owner was awarded with a medal by the spanish King for keeping the spanish cuisine in the Philippines alive. The tapas is a must!

I have stayed in this hotel many times, mainly because of its location, but also because of the quality of services provided. I was very disappointed during my last stay ... no Internet connection in the room, deficient house keeping service (had to remind them to clean the room at 4.00 pm one day), long waiting time when checking out (checking mini bar seems to be an obsession and takes 10 to 15 minutes!)... not sure I will stay there again. Many alternative options in the area!

Good customer service, especially house keeping.
The trash disposal needs to be replaced, the water keep backing up, and a few bugs and elevator takes too long.
I enjoy the place allot, i will stay there next time i go back to pi, i will tell my friends about it. The price was good not bad at all. If you repaint the rooms it will look a lot better and you will have allot more customers staying there. Wonderful view specially during new years celebration

-Two steps from Burgois St.
-Surprisingly quiet considering its location
-Two steps from Burgois St.
-From your window you get one of the most depressing views in the world
Right in the center of the sad, decaying, filthy madness that is Burgois St., you`ll find the Makati Palace Hotel. You`re literally a 10 second walk from all the strip clubs, pan-handlers, beggars, pickpockets, and streetwalkers you could shake a stick at. Yet, surprisingly, the Makati Palace Hotel seems immune and/or protected from thsi urban decay. I found the hotel to be quiet and clean and th staff to be most polite and helpful. The hotel is like a safe haven. If you have to stay in Makati, I think this hotel is the best (slightly edging out the Oxford Suites and Best Western Astor).
Restaurant Tip : Go out the front door and turn left (away from Burgois)...at the end of the street you`ll find a delightful little Italian restaurant.

Fairly close to greenbelt where everyone hangs out.
the jacuzzi is not working.
This hotel is pretty decent and for the price is one of the best deal I think. The hotel is close to most things specially the greenbelt shopping area and the hang out place at night. Just walking distance to most dining area like spanish and italian restaurant. There are several 24 hrs store like 7-11 and local 24 hr store just below the hotel. The only disappointment is the jaccuzzi of the hotel is not working. All in all this is good deal and the staffs are very helpful.
Nightlife Tip : Shopping and Nightlife is located in greenbelt which is closeby.

Kettle was broken; no view to speak of; viagra touts hassle you outside
If you need a mid-range hotel for a night or two, this is a decent enough place to stay. The mid-range places seem to be clustered around the red-light district - P Burgos Street - but it's not especially in your face, except for the relentless viagra touts. P Burgos Street has plenty of couple-friendly places to eat and drink, and the Greenbelt Mall is an easy 15-minute walk south.
Restaurant Tip : For a good place to eat away from P Burgos Street, turn left out of the hotel lobby and walk 50 metres: there's a very good - if rather pricey - Italian restaurant. Truly excellent food, although the house white wine was rather dire.

Convenient location for making merry.
If you are looking for just a clean and safe place to stay for the night, this is it. No frills. The room air conditioner unit is a window unit type and seemed a little small to cool the room. Check-in is a breeze but the friendly staff make you sign the charge slip for 2000 pesos for incidentals/security which is unusual. Security is great as they screen all visitors entering the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : 24 hours restaurant across the road with singing waitresses. 50's theme. Great food and friendly staff at the Filling Station.

This Hotel is in good location if you want nightout, shopping is just a few minutes by taxi,i thought theres internet and wifi in the rooms thats what i found in their hotel description but nothing ,we told that they having problem that day in their connection but i learned that long time before the guest complaining about it, we have to go accross the street to check our important emails,i wish they do something about it then we will go back there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : a lot people bugging you sell stuff, girls on the street offers massage when you let your guy walk alone.

The rooms very clean and customer service a A+
Just the location, too many bars
Great place to stay, customer service at their best and rooms are pretty clean. Internet was fast and looks real secure. I request to change rooms and no problem i was given another one with no questions ask. AC units real comparable. Housekeeping do a great job everyday when cleaning room. Restaurants were great and over all is a great place to stay.

Dirty and old, internet connection is bad, noisy
It is my fault to book here, because my friend book here and I did as well. It is not recommend to business person but it might be good for fun seeker men because of the location of this hotel. Hotel car for airport transportation is too bad and smell bad as well, ole, dirty, uncomfortable, anyway too bad.
Nightlife Tip : Good for single man because of Burgos area where they have a lot of bars.

Always sharp and clean. Front desk service always great.
My wife is filipina, and she always is treated like she is a club girl. I understand the assumption but it is highly insulting to her. Teach your staff to NOT make that assumption. Treat all filipinas as if they are true gf or wives of your male guests. That way around there is no risk of offending anyone. I don't like having to leave a deposit. There was no mini bar so what could I not pay for. You also have my credit card info, so you don't need a deposit.
The stay at makati palace is always pleasant and courteous for me as a foreigner, but not so for my wife, because of the prejudice she feels as a filipina female staying in your hotel with a foreigner. Good value for money. I would give you an A-.

i enjoyed my stay at makati palace very much due to the extremely friendly staff and well equipped spacious rooms. The lobby is very well made up and the receptionist were very welcoming on our arrival and helpful during my entire stay. The only downside to my stay was a very slow checkout time despit the fact that i was the only person at the counter. All in all i would give this hotel 8/10
Nightlife Tip : All in all a very pleasant stay
