Pleasant service
good location and wonderful staff

it was wonderful staying in the hotel. all the staff were very pleasant & helpful. it's just a walking distance from robinson's mall & edsa shrineo. the pool was only 4ft. but at least i still got my early morning dip. i don't like the locks used in the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you want to go around the area you can opt to walk rather than use the cab. it's a very safe place and if you enjoy being in a tropical country like the philippines then walking around is so much better to get to see the place.

Myself and a few members from my family all stayed here for my sister's wedding, from the moment we all arrived, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the care they showed us is beyond words and I would for sure re-book this hotel and recommend it to my friends and family.

Malayan Plaza Hotel provides a very pleasant accommodation since it is clean, quiet and safe. Also, the staff are warm and friendly. I booked a room through Agoda and got a good deal! The check-in process was fast and i was directed to my room in no time.
Malayan is more of a condotel type. It has a kitchenette, a 4-seater dining table, a closet and 2 units of AC in the room i have. The room is spacious and as i said, it is clean and smells fresh which are what i look for in a hotel.
The only thing I was not happy about was the difficulty of hauling a cab. But I guess because it was Friday then and was drizzling which made it difficult for the hardworking concierge to get one for me.
Overall, I like my stay there. Oh, and the complimentary breakfast is just right :-)

Locatiion - near to malls and the bus terminal to the Clark airport is just 5 minutes' walk away.

Lucky for us to have stayed at Malayan Plaza Hotel which is outside Metro Manila - our travel dates coincided with the Asian financial heads meeting in Manila and the traffic was horrendous there! Breakfast is acceptable. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Do order eggs for your breakfast.

i recently went to vietnam for a week and checked back in with malayan, they were kind enough to hold my luggage bags while i was away, they greeted me by my name once i returned, so that was really nice.

Room was great service was ok, regarding the cleanliness everything was ok except for the small cockroach I found in the sofa (lobby area) staff immediately remove it but didn't say anything about it as if they are used to it. Note it was the first day of my stay also hate the breakfast you have to go out the hotel just for your breakfast food was good though...
