cosy hotel, big size of room, i was stay here for three times
each time stay at least three nights
the room is big, only the poor for the hot water
after 3mimutes later the water not feel hot.
breakfast was ok, emm only ok.
rest of them is good
also all of staffs are nice
i will stay this hotel again

Great Hotel at the heart of Ortigas
Convenient location, all the basics needs, great rooftop view

it's not my first nor my second stay in this hotel. i would always stay at this hotel whenever i am in manila. the hotel offers the basic needs when you're on business trip or having a holiday in manila. the rooms are large enough for 2 persons with dining, living and kitchen area. the bedroom has a walk-in closet which i really like because i don't want my visitors seeing my stuff clattered in the bedroom. there's only one toilet though which is outside the bedroom (minus point for me) which makes it a little inconvenient when you need to urinate at night. the pool area is at the higher floor which is nice because it's overlooking the entire metro manila but i recently discovered that there is another part of the hotel where you can enjoy the view of entire metro manila specially the sunset -rooftop! to get here, you need to go to the gym which is at the last floor of the building (follow the instruction inside the lift) the take the stares to the helipad area (rooftop). breakfast is fine although the choices are almost the same everyday. overall, i am satisfied, as always, in my stay at the malayan plaza hotel.
Shopping Tip:
shopping malls are just around the corner. the podium across the hotel, robinson's galleria mall in the east (5min walk) and sm megamall behind podium (5min walk). or if you want a more classy mall experience, go to shangri-la plaza which is beside sm megamall (west side 10min walk).

Very convenient and clean

Very convenient to Pasig shopping SM Mall, Podium and ADB center. Easy to get around to nearby areas such as Pasig and Areneta area. We liked the great service. For example, we were able to check in early when our flight arrived early in the morning. That is a huge bonus on an overnight (red eye) flight. Staff were helpful and courteous.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Go to Podium to get online. Hotel service was not reliable.

Nice Hotel close to lots of shopping
The price was good and the location was great

the staff is very friendly and curtious and go the extra mile when needed. the room is clean and well maintained with when clear a good view out to the ocean, problems and services were handled promptly.
the free breakfast was variedy though the oatmeal was rather runny. other food choices were not outstanding but adequate.
Shopping Tip:
there a number of good malls and shopping centres close by including SM Mega Mall and the Shangri La mall which even has a Debenhams and Marks and Spencer for any Brits that might be wondering.

We had a very good stay in the hotel. Our stay was peaceful, the hotel employees were polite and accommodating, the breakfast was good (there's still room for improvement in their menu) and the location of Malayan was exactly in the middle of everything (park, restaurants, malls, banks, schools). The room was neat to look at and well-equipped when it comes to their mini-kitchen, which what I liked best. Plus the bathroom is simple yet clean, just what I need since I'm a bit choosy when it comes to this area of the room.

Excellent room size and amenities
Room is bigger than most hotel room sizes at this range, complete with kitchen facilities (stove, utensils, kitchen sink). Location is excellent, just behind the Podium, which in turn is just behind SM Megamall.

our trip was quite short and with primary focus on access to the nearby malls and business district. for this, the hotel served well enough - no luxuries were expected and none were really received. the room size is bigger than usual which would be useful assuming we had a need for more space. same goes for the kitchen amenities.

It is a good hotel for a businessman. Near the business area and SM mall is only 150m away so it is very easy to acess various stores and resturants.
