i like the malls here close outside its not like the more expensive greenbelt mall

Great location. Room's are still fairly new.

Wonderful time exploring Manila. We were out most of the time, but it was great knowing that we come home to a nice and safe room. Surrounding area is very safe at night. Hot water showers with great air-condition. Cable TV has both Filipino channels as well as Western (English/CNN). Staff were all very courteous, friendly, and smiles a lot. Can't really think of anything negative to say.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taking a Taxi is much much cheaper than taking a hotel shuttle. Try and time a Taxi or MRT ride during non peak hours.

The hotel was fine, but it seems the people there are not so accommodating and friendly. The room size is fine but the view was not so good. The buffet breakfast was a disappointment, few food choices and doesn't taste good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel rooms has kitchen so you can cook food inside the room to save up some money instead of going out to eat.

We booked the studio room. When we got to the hotel, they said all their studio rooms were occupied but they were going to upgrade us instead. We got excited about this and thought of how lucky we were. However, when we saw the room that they gave us, it was pretty disappointing. It was decent and livable, yes, but nothing compared to the pictures. From the pictures, the rooms looks really nice and clean. As for the actual room, even with the "upgrade", it had such an "old" ambience, with the furniture looking quite worn out. The wooden bed kept creaking with every move and did not appeal any comfort whatsoever. Overall, I expected more out of my money from Malayan Plaza.
