Very good service, nice rooms & good Location.
Very busy, breakfast area very crowded & chaotic. Well warn & old fashioned.
One of Manila's very Grand old Hotels it still in good condition with fantastic staff. Location is good being close to the excellent Green Belt & Glorietta Shopping & Restaurant Areas.
The Lobby & surrounding Areas are decidedly 80's but well kept. The room was spotless if well worn but everything worked. The TV is a tiny & old!
The Deli serves good if a little expensive food as does the Cafe but Breakfast can be a stressful experience, with absolute chaos in the dimly lit & confusing Cafe. The Breakfast itself was fantastic, but you always feel if your about to wear it!
That said I would definetly recommend it, the Staff are really supurb!
Restaurant Tip : Try GreenBelt 3 for Restaurants, must be over 50 there!

If you look close the hotel is getting weiry.
This was not our first or last stary at the Mandarin Oriental. The location is good in Makati district, close to Glorietta mall and Greenbelt 2 area for restaurants. The rooms are IMMACULATELY clean. Breakfast is superb, with a huge buffet selection from western bacon and eggs to eastern sushi and miso. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are large as standard. We're already rebooked for another stay.
Shopping Tip : Have your shopping delivered to the hotel rather than carry it around all day.

Staff were great, Hotel is secure and quiet, Very Clean and spacious rooms. Hotel Cars per well presented and drivers knowlagble.
Breakfast needs a bit more imagination, Hotel is starting to show its age- refurbishment should be on the planning list.Health Centre Massage is over priced.
The biggest assett to this Hotel is the staff- by the 2nd day most were calling us by name - great. No request was too much trouble. The free shuttle bus to the different shopping centers was a big plus in the evening particularly.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the Bathrooms particularly were spacious. While there were many guests the place never appeared cluttered with people - good room in the foyer and lounge areas. Ther was no traffic noise and one slept well in comfortable beds.
Shopping Tip : Glorietta on the Shuttle Bus
