great location, breakfast. very nice location, plenty of restaurants around, money changers, shopping centre within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent heaps to choose from and good quality. Rooms ok, clean and tidy but starting to look their age. Staff were very good very helpful. better in room coffee and tea facilities would be much appreciated. Overall a pleasant stay.

good ambience, and the hotel lobby. Dog sniffed me at the entrance. this hotel a very convenient hotel which is easy to travel to any place in manila, and very near to popular shopping spots, monuments, night life and food.
The staff is very helpful with a very warm welcome and dinner and lunch has a variety of dishes from West to the East. My best choice for a hotel either for leisure or business with free 24hr wifi at their lobby.
Travel tip : Very convenient for food and entertainment area.

The onsite Casino's entry point is on the lobby level and thus cigarette smoke fills the lobby which was very bothersome.
Travel tip : Room service massages by the Glory (one of two services) staff was excellent and was the same price as going to the spa. The Seafood Market about 6-8 blocks away had excellent food and service.

My stay at the Orchard Parade-A Far East was very pleasant. the staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and very roomy. the location was close to many nice eating places many within walking distance from the hotel.For the price i was impressed with the overall of the hotel and did not find any cons about this hotel and would stay there again

For added convenience, the casino is in the hotel and it made it wasier for us to leave our children in the room with no problems.
Restaurant Tip : Their famous Seafood restaurant is just around the corner, which we realied afte we circled around the block for ten minutes.

This hotel is way overdue for a facelift if it wants to retain a four star rating. In my opinion, its a three star at best. That said, most accommodation in the Philippines is overrated and overpriced, with the exception perhaps of hotels in the Ortigas area, however, they are mainly for business travellers and are not handy to any attractions.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you book a standard room and are unsatisfied with it request an upgrade for 200 pesos per night. Floors 15 and 16 seem better than the others.
