Quezon City

Of the separate communities that make up Metro Manila, Quezon City is the largest. It served as capital of the Philippines for more than 25 years and has grown into a leading business and entertainment center for Manila. Hotels in Quezon City are suitable for tourists as well as business travelers.

Quezon City may not have the historic appeal of Intramuros or the seaside appeal of Ermita, but it still has plenty of modern infrastructure to offer tourists. Enormous shopping malls in the area include Gateway Mall, TriNoma and SM City North. There is also a farmers’ market that meets here regularly at Farmers Plaza. Other attractions include San Pedro Bautista Church, Quezon Memorial Circle and the botanical gardens at Ninoy Aquino Parks.

Aurora Tower marks the center of the business area, where telecommunications giants and IT companies are headquartered. Most of the accommodation in Quezon City consists of mid-range hotels that are suitable for tourists as well as business travelers with a limited budget.
