The weekend we were there was a long holiday weekend. hotel was fully booked and we had to wait for a while for our room. The reception clerk, Ernest, was very good in facilitating ouor room. The room was nice but it is showing a bit of its age. I guess they are always busy in this hotel and no time to refurbish all. Overall, the stay was pleasant.
Nightlife Tip:
Club republiq is just adjacent to the hotel which is connected to a mall with cinemas.

I chose Marriott for its proximity to the airport. They have shuttle buses from the airport terminal. Ironically, when we walked into the hotel, there was also an xray for luggage at the entrance! I guess I reached the airport earlier than expected.
Other than that, the service was superb. We were greeted with huge smiles and our requests were listened to despite the number of guests checking in. The rooms were also 5-star. It was huge and comfortable. To add to that, there was also a big tub! For me, there's extra points if the hotel has a nice tub.
Breakfast is definitely worth it! Its served in a huge buffet filled with everything from fruits to egg to bread/pastries.
Must stay! 4/5
Nightlife Tip:
If you're staying in Marriot, try out Republiq or Opus bar in Newport mall. These are one of the hottest new clubs in Manila

I stayed for one night in transit from Manila to Boracay. Friendly staff, rooms are immaculately clean, cozy beds, great views, loved the fact that it's attached to the Newport Malls and Resorts World Manila. Time flew in my one night stay. The bar in the lobby was really good. Buffett breakfast had a lot of variety and quality food. I'm definitely coming back! Highly Recommended. Good Value!

I chose this hotel to accomodate us(with my japanese friend) and did a booking for , and when we were at the front desk to check in, i was talking to that lady because my japs friend dont understand english and speak english well, but the staff of that hotel was kept on ignoring me, like she didnt wanna talk to me, ive been in many hotels in the world, and im a member of canyon woods, i dont think my stay there was great, theres a saying , first impression lasts,
