Hay, I'll stay here again. The hotel is located next to Manila Bay. Feels like you are not in Manilla at all, no teaming crowds of people. Until you make your way into the mall, heh.

I had to make some special requests prior to arrival in Manila and the staff responded promptly and took care of every detail.
The arrival and check in were great but the hotel itself could be so much better. there is nothing in the mini-bar and no coffee maker or kettle in the room. there is a construction style orange jug of water in the hall near the elevators on each floor but no drinking water is provided in the room. The hallways and elevators are not air conditioned. I have stayed at other microtels with wonderful experiences but not at this one. For me it was an expensive one star experience. I did not eat at the hotel so I cannot comment about that.
Shopping Tip:
Its the closest hotel to the mall of Asia and the view is very nice from the upper floors.

Microtel Hotels & Resorts Mall of Asia, manila is located right at the water coast bay. try to stay on the high floor so to get a wonderful view from your room. you can get a even better view from the pool side. hotel staffs are nice. rooms are huge too. it is just a few minutes walk to some mega shopping malls, as well as dining along the coast line. it is also next to a convention centre. not a bad choice after all.

Good location
Near SM Mall of Asia - just about 5 minutes to go to the mall so it's very convenient. Good size of bed. I find the rooms big enough for two-four people. Easy transaction with the reception. Staff are friendly.

upon check-in, it just took 10 minutes for the receptionist to give me my hotel key. pleasant staff, friendly and courteous. breakfast is not that special but still okay. very near to moa, so whatever you need you'll probably find it there - this is really convenient to travelers who are not from manila.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the restaurants along Mall of Asia - By the Bay.
