"cozy hotel"

i had a wonderful time because i was so near the mall, the church and a long stretch of restaurants to choose from. the place is "quiet" meaning i do not battle the traffic every time i want to go out within the perimeter of the sm owned complex and i felt a lot safer there than in any other areas in manila. in the late afternoon, i just walked around the complex and already had a great time

I'm not totally satisfied. I paid 3 nights but I only stay 2 nights. It happened that my flight from chicago was 6 hours delayed and when I got to japan there is no more plane going to the philippines. so i stay overnight in japan and flight same time the following day. i talked to the front desk if i can stay for 3 nights but they said if i stay 3 nights i still have to pay the 3rd night i even talked to the manager but nothing happen.

the hotel is located just a few meters from the biggest shopping mall in manila. we witness the spectacular pyrolympics right at the window of our room. room is clean and wife love the breakfast. we'll definitely be back at this hotel.

hotel has a great staff. the location is great. the food is the same daily. if you want to get a cheap taxi. don't catch the hotel taxi too expense. all you have to do is. walk 10 feet away from the hotel and taxi always coming by every 5 to 10 minutes. you will be able to get a better price then catching the hotel taxi.

Microtel was clean, hip and modern looking. The breakfast was none different than what hotels offer in the states, but it was nice if you needed something to nibble on before heading out.
The rooms were clean and kept in a new appearance. The main feature that I like over all hotels in Manila is it's location to the restuarants and shops at the mall without needing a cab.
My only negative experience was getting a cab out of this place. I seemed to have more trouble with taxi drivers trying to rip me off here than other hotels.
