location near many eating places - fast food, pizza, Korean, western steak house etc. A few massage places across the road. easy for taxi. helpful & courteous staff members. good choice of channels on satellite TV. breakfast - limited choice and staff need to be taught about dietary restrictions for all religious diets and allergies. They do not seem to know that ham and longanissa sausage actually comes from a pig /pork products. Rooms are small and dark. One day air cond not working but was rectified quickly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ayala museum, Greenbelt and Glorieta shopping centers are 30 min walking distance.
MRT Buendia station is 30 min walking distance.
Hop On- Hop Off Manila (Sakay Na) vans at a discounted price of 30% if you show your used boarding passes from Cebu Pacific, Malaysia Airlines, Philippine Airlines, SEA air and Zest air. Nearest pickup point is at A Venue Hotel, 5 minutes walk from Millenium plaza

near Makati Avenue,
reasonable price,
small supermarket, restaurants, pubs nearby (100-500m) I stayed at the Millenium Plaza already many times during the last years, mainly just for overnight stays in Manila as stop-over from dometic to international flights. As the rooms are bigger and not so noisy like in other hotels of the area, I prefer the Millenium Plaza - as long they offer a competitive rate - what seems to be just back after a year of much higher rates, which forced me to use other hotels in 2008.
It is easy to get taxis on Makati avenue even at 4:00h AM, there are a few small supermarkets, restaurants, fast food outlets etc.. around the area, so in short a location suitable for me as just overnight or short term guest.
And the Makati business district or the shopping are can be reached within a few minutes taxi ride (if the streets are not that jammed).
Restaurant Tip : Hossein Persian Kebab house (Makati avenue 200m down the road)

everything other than location - hotel is very dated. reminded me of grandmothers house (not in a good way) Stay away from this hotel!!! I only stayed one night. I needed a room for a few hours I had an early flight leaving in the morning. I was only needing somewhere to lay my head for 10hours until my flight. I should have just stayed in the airport lounge. The bed was stained, the restroom floors were dirty, and the halls smelled bad. This hotel my have had a good past, but that was sometime ago. everything was old and well used. Location is only good thing about this place. try the "A Venue Suites" two buildings over, it cost more but is definately worth every penny.
Nightlife Tip : go to P Burgos street so you will forget about your room
