Upon checking in was confronted with a unknow fact that this hotel required a 5000P deposit. This should be noted in the booking so that one does not have to go out prior to checking in and looking for a money exchanger to get the up front deposit.
- Shopping Tip : with in walking distance to Robinson Mall and a short taxi ride to Mall of Asia

Really, you are better off staying somewhere else...there was a 5000 peso deposit, and the room was only 2500! Also, you have to pay for the internet...we got this on short notice and we were wrong! We stayed at much better places and it wasn't too more expensive!

I am very happy with this hotel. I stayed here in July 2008 paying 45 USD and for this price, the hotel delivered much better value than Best Western Corona and Executive Plaza hotel in the same area. The bathroom was remodeled and very clean! On the premise, the decor was 20's style with piped in soft music from that era. Next time in Manila, this is my hotel!

Hotel provides good service for the money. Be careful of the taxi drivers - because of the cost of fuel they dont want to turn on the meter and will demand much more than the ride is worth. Had problems cashing amex travellers cheques - the local banks close to the hotel would not exchange them and I had to call amex for a location that would (30 minute taxi ride and 500 peso later, i got what i needed)
- Travel tip : Beware when ordering breakfast room service - breakfast is free so your expected to order something else from the menu that you have to pay for.

Don't give the beggar children on the streets money. They usually belong to a syndicate that gets them addicted to shoe glue and profits from them. Give them food!

The hotel seems to be frequented by very large and very noisy groups, which nobody seemed to try to keep under control, so all the weekend we stayed there was very very noisy and it was almost impossible to sleep.
- Restaurant Tip : Lots of great seafood restaurants on the wharf just across the road from the hotel.
