Located right off EDSA street, the New Horizon Hotel is very close to many of the wonderful attractions that Manila has to offer. I've been to practically every area in Metro Manila and you may not find a better location than New Horizon Hotel. You can also pay a lot more, but you will not not find better service anywhere in Manila. I spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it greatly, I think you will as well.
Just entering New Horizon Hotel is a charming experience. The staff is perhaps the most friendly and accomodating in all of Manila. The rooms have an "Old World" ambiance that is quite nice. The attached restraunt is incredible. The food is 5 star and the staff are great. Close to airport and two great malls in Manila. Taxi service is inexpensive to all attractions.
This hotel has no weakness that I could see.
- Shopping Tip : SM Mega Mall and Robison's Malls are very close and well worth the $2 USD taxi ride. Feista Restraunt at SM Mall is incredible. You'll surely find every store you can possibly want and a few you never dreamed of. Have fun!!!

Overall, the hotel fits its rating (3-star). Best feature is its accessibility to Makati, QC, and Mandaluyong/Pasig area. I wouldn't mind staying there again for my next business trip in the Philippines.
As a recommendation, management may consider building a direct access bridge from the Hotel to MRT in order to skip the annoying flea market.
Re: food, needs to be less salty or drinks too sweet. But the ambiance is generally OK.
+ Very accessible as the hotel is just nearby the MRT-Boni Stn.
+ Good value for money.
+ Room is clean and spacious.
+ Friendly hotel staff.
- Nearby flea market is an eye-sore to tourists.
- Since it is nearby EDSA, traffic and loud horns can be heard inside the room.
- Shopping Tip : Megamall and Shangri-la is just one station away or if you don't want to go further, there is Robinsons Mall right across the Hotel. Very convenient!

This place is great! i would recommend it to anyone who needs a convenient and affordable place to stay. Close to several malls and fastfood restaurants well as convenience stores.
This hotel was awesome! The customer service as well as all ammenities were superior! I will stay again! Extreme value for the money!

You should go to Manila if you want to see a amazing transportation system. Without a traffic signal, it is great pleasure to learn how they drive a car to avoid an accident. Its a time to realize that we have to take measures suited to the occasion. Put yourself noisy, cosy and energetic place, it is a downtown of Manila.
Safe, because there is a guard.
Location, within a walking distance to Makati City.
Taxi, 24 hours available.
The table for couple is too small at the restaurant.

I stayed for a few days here immediately after a cyclone. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The food was plentiful and good with a good range of choices. The room was clean, large and very comfortable.
It is in a quiet side of the street but very close to shopping malls. Excellent food and very comfortable.
The location is not the best but that is hardly the fault of the hotel.
- Hotel Feature Tip : This is a peaceful hotel within a few minutes of the major shopping centres.

Is like a baby 5 star hotel but without the grand scale architechture and fancy furnishings.

A long way out of town and it can take 1 hour to reach SM Plaza shopping center.
- Restaurant Tip : Nothing to tell home about relating to night life, shopping, or restaurants in the area.
