Great hotel in a great location

new world is a beautiful hotel - just what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. the best thing about this hotel is the location. it's located directly opposite from greenbelt 3 and walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and shops in the greenbelt area.
we had a lovely room on the 20th floor and the staff were always a pleasure to deal with. the only complaints we have were that there is no wifi access in the rooms and if you wanted internet access, it was only available via an ethernet connection that you had to pay for. there is wifi in the lobby, but it was very unreliable. also, we required an extra bed in our room and it took several phone calls to reception in order to finally get this set up.

smack dab in the middle of makati - right across the street from greenbelt - it just doesn't get any better than this. rooms are comfortable and a good size, bathrooms are great (excellent water pressure, convenient separate shower), and pool is better than i expected at this price point in the center of town. staff is the best there is in the philippines - on par with shangri-la and peninsula. excellent value overall. this is my #1 choice in makati.

the hotel was very well presented. staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was small but adequate. breakfast was superb, entertainment at the bar was very good but drinks were very expensive. overall, had a very good stay with a great deal from agoda.

We should have stayed longer because we enjoyed our stay very much. Unfortunately we were only there for a night. We will definitely stay there again.
The airport service van is ridiculously expensive and should be a lot cheaper. The airport is not that far from the hotel and taking a taxi is a lot cheaper and more practical. Services like these should be more affordable.

Stayed here several times. Convenient for greenbelt malls just across the street. I always choose the upgrade, cocktails and buffet in the evning on the top floor great view of the city. Staff all very attentive and friendly always a warm welcome here.
Shopping Tip:
It's all just across the street, not the cheapest but definitely the best selection you'll find, upmarket mall

Room clean if a little dated. Shower temperature not the best - took ages to get even lukewarm. Internet access virtually non existent. Couldnt get wifi even in the lobby area and no wifi in rooms. There is also a charge for this which always drives me crazy. All in all a little pricey for a very average hotel.
