Good central location, near nice shopping mall

Slow lift, Super high priced wi-fi internet only

The hotel has an older style look however, everything in my room was well maintained and in good working order. Cleanliness at a good standard. Staff was friendly yet professional. Wi-fi internet priced at 240 pesos per hour, well overpriced for the Philippines. Robinson’s mall only a few steps away, it is a modern mall with a lot of good eateries. I did not try any food at the hotel.

Travel tip : Beware of using a taxi driver just outside the hotel, he seems to be an associate of the hotel doormen and the price he quoted me was 4 times the fair rate. Walk down the street and hail a cab.

good location, directly opposite Robinsons Mall where there are many eating places and supermarket

only have one elevator that is shared by both guests and employees

hotel is in bustling mabini where there are lots of eating places and night entertainment spots. It is also in close walking distance to the casino in grand hyatt hotel. Standard rooms are at best spartan. Hot water comes from an instant heater and water is weak. There is also no hot water available for the basin. Staffs are polite but will hop on the elevator even when guests are in there since there is only one elevator serving the whole hotel. So elevator trips can take a long time.

Shopping Tip : You can get all your supplies at robinsons mall just right opposite the hotel

Good location. Close to American Embassy, malls and nightlife.

Slowish checkout.

Nice reasonably priced hotel. Clean rooms and public areas. Friendly staff. Easy and cheap to get to and from airport by taxi.

Travel tip : Lots of restaurants and night clubs close by.

very close to alot of bars and restraunts and the robinson mall is a block down from the hotel.

still under construction and if u dont like a really firm bed dont stay here

My gf and I enjoyed are stay at this hotel the people here were very friendly. The hotel is not bad at all there where no bugs in our room. The only thing that was really a problem was there is only one elevator so sometimes u were waiting for a few minutes before it finally reached the 10th floor. I would recomended staying at this hotel my room was very clean and for the price u can not beat it.

I like the location, as its on the red hot spot with the great services of the workers. 24/7 they have been always on the move.

If they can help with more services, such as transport arrangement to be on time. Maybe some food in the hotel is a bit expensive.

My time in the Palm Plaza Hotel is one of the best ever in the Asian countries, as I already experienced some of the hotels in the Asian region. With a great service as I first approach the main entrance on the welcome and smiling faces of the person who open the door, really makes me feel at home. I like the English of those two girls at the reception desk when they greet me again with their smiling faces. It just make me really need to stay in the hotel, and now I confirmed with them that I do need a room in my 5 days of business work in Manila, even though it was quiet a distance from my business place. I like the room with all its services, which makes me just want to stay in the room all the time as I watched TV all the way long till I dozed off to my dreamland. Definitely, It was so sad for me to live the hotel during my check-out time, but I'm coming back to Palm Plaza Hotel in my next business trip in Manila.

Shopping Tip : My experienced near the hotel was the big shopping mall which is just a walking distance. I did my shopping everyday, but most of all I just have to be in the mall to sight see all that was happening, such as peoples movement, restaurants, shops, activities, etc...

Security is real good. And room very comfortable.

The food at hotel again more for asians. Over priced for what you get and not all that good. And on the second stay i was treated like a nobody at all - very sad to see that - time to find another hotel in malate manila i think.

Bit disapointed this time with the service - i have stayed there at least 20 times in the past - and they have repairs and renovations going on at the moment.i was treated like a nobody on check in - and booked for smoking room and gave me a non smoking room - took then over 24hours to get me smoking room. So i just stayed in same room.

Restaurant Tip : Cheft quaters on the other side of hotel in exellent food and great value - and they remember me from all my stays - even had a cake baked for me for desert to say good bye see you next time - worth a visit.

Palm plaza hotel is good for the price we paid for, at the front of the big mall and so many establihsment around, the location is perfect..the hotel is clean.

The part of the entrance was under repair, when we were there..except the lites in the bathroom is not bright enough

Overall the hotel is perfect for the price, nice location at the front of the robinson (mall) and surrounded with so many establishment. So many establishment at the street around the hotel..this hotel room is cleaned.. During our stay the part of the entrance or lobby is under repair. And i suggest that they have to have their lights in the bathroom more brighter

Great Malate location. Clean, nice lobby, helpful staff

A little more expensive than other hotels in area.

Near to Robinson Mall, Japanese restuarants, and Ca Freddy's. Staff has tour packages ready to go, though I did not use them as the packages were expensive. Nice hotel, but I moved to another close by that was just as good but a lot less expensive.

Nightlife Tip : Lots of girl bars in Malate

The only good features is the hotel driver and being very close to Ribinson Mall. All other features of the hotel are all disappointing.

the lift of the hotel starts from only second floor. room is very small. recieption desk needs to be improved and to be separated from the resturant area. reciption disk has no PC printer and not internet connection even though they provid chargable WIFI connection to the customers. so i have to go to robinson mall to print my Agooda voucher to prove my reservation. reciption disk land line phone is not working and i have to go up to my room to do a call.

if ever you think to reserve a room in this hotel. better change your mind and reserve in Executive Plaza which is the same rate of value and much much much better in accomodation, staff and services and it is located in the same area exactly.

Travel tip : The hotel has only this good feature which is being very close to Robinson Mall.

Good location to a shopping mall; Nice and clean room; affordable price.

Slow lift.

Friendly and helpful staffs; except the reception who shown little smile. The room in the hotel is small but clean. The hotel is near the manila bay. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk there and can enjoy the breeze and beautiful sunset there. Also it takes only 2 to 3 minutes walking distance to the Robinson shopping mall.

Location

The lift;

I was returning to the Palm Plaza not so much out of choice but because I had left my laptop with the hotel while I toured northern Luzon. Once again the hotel is very average with little to recommend it other than its location. On the other hand there are few issues that really rankle other than with a little effort and better management the hotel could be a whole lot better

Hotel Feature Tip : The laundry service is expensive and not particularly good. Similarly the cafe in the lobby. There are cheaper, better alternatives very close to the hotel.

Locatiom

The lift; The karaoke bar in the lobby; The hawkers and beggars on the door step of the hotel

The Palm Plaza is very well located, just along the stereet from the Hyatt and its casino and next to the Las Palmas and other budget hotels. It is a 2 minute walk to Robinson's Mall and all its facilities. My agoda voucher got me a room on the Executive Floor, the 10th. You might think this was an advantage until you are introduced to the hotel lift which in the absence of a service lift takes ages and ages. You should also be aware that the small bar in the lobby has a karaoke facility which is popular with the locals but it makes the lobby area a no go zone if the is a poor crooner on the mike.

Travel tip : The hotel laundry is expensive and not particularly good. The laundry shop outside the hotel is cheap and excellent.

Robinson's place is 3 mins. walk lots of places to eat or shop in supermarket. Wifi is free in the mall.

I hate roaches, this hotel has crawling about in daylight. They will also charge you 490 PHP per hour to use wifi. There is one small elevator to service 12 floors. That includes maintenance and housekeeping.

Staff at front desk are disorganized, Porters a bit too friendly, need to stay professional. Finally, its crazy to think that having arrived by metered yellow taxi from the airport at a cost of 190 PHP..that the hotel would charge 500 PHP for a return trip to the same airport in a similar car. Sends the wrong message. It's a clear rip-off. Wifi is NOT free will cost 490 PHP for 1 hour. Better walk 3 mins to Robinsons mall and log on free. With a good laptop, should be able to connect to Robinson's Place from your room. I did..Cheers! There is only one elevator for 12 floors. If you use the elevator, allow 7 mins. or longer wait depending on the time of day.

Restaurant Tip : Robinson's place good clean lots of shops and restaurants.
