The Pearl Lane hotel was an excellent hotel for the price. It was cheap and exceeded any and all expectations. The rooms were clean and larger than expected. Good bathroom facilities and great housekeeping. the rest of the staff, were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant tasted good, but I got food poisoning on the last night, but all in all the hotel and stay itself was really good, and convenient location.

Service was good . Adequate for sleep and personal functions but that was it.
Shopping Tip:
Robinsons Mall just down the street. Clean, cheap and customer service second to none. Great food also.If nothing else, the shopping is sensational.

I like this clean hotel with nice staff. The only thing I dont like is that wifi is poor and dont woork in many rooms, I tested several rooms.
Also the rooms smell from prior guests cigarette smoking. They try to spay with parfume but this only covers the bad smell for 30 minutes.
Also the rooms are very dark because the curtains are closed for some reason. It is possible to walk outside the windows (the passage is closed) but this may be the reason why all romms have closed curtains. Of course you can open them up and let the sunshine in but baybe you stand the risk that people will look into your room.
There is a nice open air restaurant on top where you have a nice view.
I would stay here again because I can stand the smell and I dont care much about closed curtains. If you have problems with the smell of ciggarette smoke you may want another hotel.
The hotel is situated in Manilas amusement district maily directed at men. Many girls, bars and restaurants. May not be suitable for families with children.

I've always been staying here everytime i visit manila. Great location. The problem is just the internet is not that good in the rooms. As I've frequent there problem is breakfast bout the same everytime

the hotel room i stayed has very small window, and the size is small. i arrive early morning so i have to wait for hours before i was checked in, while waiting at the lobby, the receptionist was very noisy so the waiting was agonizing and irritating.
on a positive note, the room is clean and modern. the housekeeping did a good job, as the room is cleaned daily.

This hotel is in a relatively quiet neighbourhood but in the middle of Malate and in walking distance of Robinson's Department, Pedro Gil metro station and redemption circle. The staff are very friendly, especially in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is really good with life cooking (eggs), fruits, cereals, toast, bacon, sausages, pancakes and rice or potatoes. The standard rooms are small but clean and well equiped.

Good price for a nice clean well run hotel. Friendly staff and nice location to walk around the Malate area of Manila. Robinsons is not to far away for a day of shopping, eating and movies. Rooms are updated and good tv channels as well.
