Great staff but small old rooms.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times but not recently and found it this time a little old and run down. No longer good value for money and the counter price was only Peso's more than Agoda.
Nightlife Tip:
Lots to do at night in this Area. Dine, catch a band and have a few drinks it is all here in Malate.

Stayed 3 nights last week during the weekend. late arrival and was given an inside room, small room but clean. I requested to be moved to a room facing the street, and was accommodated the following morning. Room felt much bigger with the big window overlooking the street, rooms were kept clean and the housekeeping department, staff was very accommodating and efficient with additional requests. I will definitely stay here again. It was walking distance to nightlife around Malate and Ermita
Nightlife Tip:
You can walk to clubs, local bars and restaurants, with no worry of safety providing you do not pay attention to the peddlers and others promoting gentlemen's clubs

the staff is very friendly and helpfull,the breakfast has some variation ,not like many others wher e they say breakfast include and just have toast and eggs or just rice with sausage or corned beef.
Shopping Tip:
the hotel is just few min walk from the Robinsons and a 10 min drive from mall of asia.

im a non smoker and all rooms are smoking rooms and the smoke odor remains at all times. the staff are friendly and its a walking distance from robinsons mall.the breakfast is just fair.

A few glitches in the beginning with the room but the staff (housekeeping) were quick to remedy the problems. The restaurant and front desk staff were great. It's the people here that makes me come back whenever I visit Manila.
Shopping Tip:
Robinsons Place is just a block away.

A nice hotel with fair price

It is a nice hotel, image,but there is breafast, and there are hot water 24 hours, unlike some hotel in Philippines, the hot water is not stable. And the location is nice, it locat at the center of manila, no matter where you want to travel it is not that far from the hotel

Don't stay here

so i stayed at this hotel 4 times during my trip to the philippines. it was an inexpensive hotel and my sky miles paid for 2 out of the 4. most of the staff are great. but what really put me off of this hotel was when i arrived with my wife and mother the 2nd time. we pulled up in the car i had rented for the day, and outside were a bunch of teenagers asking for money. very close to the car and our luggage. don't get me wrong when you are in manila people ask for money. this did not bother me that they asked what bothered me is once i got inside the hotel one followed us in. yeap right into the lobby. the security guard did nothing. the lady behind the desk glanced up when in a really loud voice i said i don't know you you need to leave me alone. well this is going on 3 of his friends are taping on the glass outside holding out there hands to my wife. after about a minute more of him saying over and over give me money he finally left the lobby. when we asked if this was a usual thing, the lady behind the desk replied "oh i thought he was with you" not even an apology. this happened once out of the four times staying there. people will ask for money outside usually younger children. this happens but no one should have to deal with a bunch of 18 year olds harassing them when they are trying to bring there bags into a hotel. one even grabbed my shoulder well i was walking in. i have been to the philippines 3 times now had never felt uncomfortable until this one time. no one should have to deal with that. when trying to check in. what was stopping him from grabbing a piece of luggage and making a run for it.

Really Nice Staff

It rained the whole time and streets were flooded so had to stay in the hotel the whole stay. Nice bed, nice staff, and food was good. Not bad for a small hotel. They could expand the room service menu, though. But all in all, it was worth it. Strong water pressure. Clean rooms, but small in size. Block away from Robinsons and lots of clubs nearby.
