Have stayed here again on my fourth visit to Philippines..so something must be right. Perhaps not the best area to stay but value for money because of the buffet breakfast, large clean swimming pool with surrounding area to relax and unwind.Rooms ok but can be dark and sometimes not enough hot water when showering. I did like the staff's new uniform..they always look professional and I have found them friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close enough to Intramuros and Rizal Park.Visit Rizal Park and learn about Philippine's national hero..Jose Rizal a quite extroardinary man.

Just a few minutes walk and you can reach a huge mall with lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

This is a lovely hotel .. swimming pool just perfect.. breakfast had many choices.. room most comfortable, clean and quiet.. staff helpful and many food outlets just outside door.. Transport within minutes from hotel, rail bus and taxi ..
Shopping Tip:
Robinsons 5 minutes walk .. all the shopping you could wish for under one roof....

very near to the university of philippines and the supreme court buildings. also walking distance to robinson mall in malate. but the rooms are really no frills, tv are old, crt 14 inches and its curve screen and not flat, how old is that! hot waters can suddenly go off esp if you like early morning showers, is a risk. but at php per night, there is not much cheaper around.

I love the Pearl Manila, they have a great staff and nice amenities. The area around the hotel is nice. It is right around the corner from a nice mall and the price is right. If I would suggest and improvement area I would say the breakfast needs improvement.
