High rise hotel without the high prices.
Free Buffet Breakfast and Great Pool and Gym

This was a nice hotel. The pool was great and there was a nice gym to work out in. The free buffet breakfast was great and the service was good. The location is a bit busy, but it is right off United Nations Avenue so it's close to everything. The room service meals were a little more expensive than the other cheaper hotels I stayed at but that is to be expected at a highrise hotel.
If you like walking you can walk to many attractions, or you can take a cab for a few bucks. Right next to all the buses and train.
Nightlife Tip:
Manila is a great place as is the Philippines as a whole. I would recommend it as a getaway destination. I felt safe wherever I went. Except when walking in a crowd you need to be careful for the little street kids. They will try to pick pocket you if they think they can get away with it. Also if you meet any beautiful women, make sure that they are biological women ;-). All in all this is a great city. Philippine people are some of the nicest people on the planet.

Very nice hotel and room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Security guards very nice. We forgot our daughters bottle and he saved it until we returned.

We are staying in this hotel for some reasons.
1)the price

Restaurant Tip:
There is a restaurant close to the hotel.
This restaurant has very delicious BBQ chicken and pork.
The salmon or fish soup of it is also very good.
The name is Chick and Baboy. Its about 5 min.walk from the hotel

The hallways were not air conditioned and needed a fresh clean
Free daily newspaper is a plus for business trips and their breakfast buffet was decent; it should get you going for the day.
There is a 7-11 just across the hotel for your everyday needs.
LRT UN station is a short walk (2-3 minutes) away.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is free WiFi on the ground floor and on the reception area; just take a seat on the lobby and connect away. Or connect while you eat.

The hotel room is very old, wall paint are different color and window curtain is about to fall, TV cable not viewable, bath room is very old. can't stand the standard room, went to front desk to pay extra to upgrade to " junior suite " and walked in, not much better, you can see wire all over the floor ,old fasion desk lamp, dirty sofa, no coffee machine or cup, bathroom shower curtain falls apart, shower head missing, only one aircondition remote, ( two unit one in room, one outside living room )but taped all over the remote so it won't fall apart. this hotel definitely need new management and remodel. it states 4 star hotel but feel 1 one star.
