A very good location hotel which is near to shopping mall nearby. Front office staff are very competent and always service with a smile. Room is ok for us as we had booked a junior suite room facing the shangri la view. As for breakfast there are still space to improve in the buffet selections , however the v very attentive staffs make up for the overall good score in the dining area. A good hotel, and match the $ you pay. External of the building needs to be upgrade and the roof top hotel signage needs to be light on in the night for route identification.
Shopping Tip:
SM mega mall abt 80m away. Shangrila mall abt 60m away
Behind the hotel, next to 7eleven there is a Starbucks and a small plaza building with a few resturants.
On the main entrance, left side abt 19m there is another Starbucks coffee and a 24hrs jolibbe fast food.

The location is very convenient since its very near the malls. The staff are friendly and courteous. The room is clean and comfortable. The only negative side would be the elevator but overall it was a very nice stay and would recommend this to travellers.

The hotel is situated near the offices and shopping malls within Ortigas Center. If you're a resident in Manila, you would know that this hotel has a nice location and yet cheaper rates compare to neighboring five-star hotels. It also houses offices inside the building itself. So, if you're here for business, this hotel is also a good choice.

This is my 2nd time to stay in Richmonde Ortigas (due to lack of other options).
Good Points:
1. Friendly staff.
2. Located near the malls and bars in Ortigas Centre.
Areas of Improvement:
1. Room maintenance (not the day-to-day cleaning)
2. Needs renovation
3. No bath robes
4. Breakfast selection

The hotel is situated in the middle of the Ortigas Business District and has access to many shopping centers

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. We also liked the pool very much as it was clean and the water was warm. We will definitely go back.
Shopping Tip:
Shangri-la Mall is only a few blocks away from the hotel. SM Megamall and Podium are likewise close by so there is no shortage of shopping destinations.

I asked for early check in,the girl at the front desk helped me and even gave me a room upgrade.The buffet breakfast was good.excellent service delivered by their courteous staff.though you will have to pay for the wifi and can only be used with 1 device which was very troublesome for us.but indeed it was a great stay!

in my 1 night stay in richmonde with a colleague of mine, the experience was not that pleasant. though it seems the location of this hotel is very accessible to many business and social establishments, it is routed with traffic outside its main streets. the hotel room deluxe is small but cozy. 1 thing i hated about the hotel is their wifi internet connection, where in they would charge you for its use but does not equate its worth because, the connection speed is very slow! unlike other hotels nearby, where i checked in the location, internet connections are provided free of charge. so i don't recommend this hotel for business stay.

we are very please with our stay and i consider this hotel as my hotel of choice. we stayed in this hotel some 4 years ago and we didn't require wifi then. we had to cut short our stay because wifi cost daily and can only be used by one user at a time. we require the use of more than one internet connection at a time.
Travel tip:
there are other hotels that includes wifi for free!!!

stayed in hotel with 7 volunteer missionaries. chose hotel because of location and affordable price. rooms are not large but decent. no stale odors. the extra bed i requested for one of my guest was better than i expected. reception desk staff are amiable and concierge service was commendable. security is good. the free bottled water is a plus.
