Overall a great experience!..I would consider this a resort hotel because of the pool area and how it is located next to the Pacific ocean, additionally it is a good distance from all of the city area.. views are fantastic of the ocean, sunsets and depending on which side of the hotel you are assigned also a great view of the Mall of Asia and thier Fireworks display. Also the "Spiral restaurant" is unmatched for its buffet!

A nice room but wall paper finishing always buggs me here,Bathrooms and bed linen are adequate but cleanliness needs detail, worn out paper goods at the desk are soiled. The Gym also need to go back to free weights instead of the fancy room with high tech equiptment. It is better for muscles if you work directly with free weights, you already have, cardio and multiple use equiptment, but lack a good bench, squat rack, incline bench, then both men and women can strut their stuff in your beautiful pool area.

Overall becoming my favorite hotel, it has a great Welcome presence but the front desk needs better control of people waiting in line for service, many guests step in front of one another, I know it is not classy to have stancions in some hotels, but it does provide control for guest service and avoidance of frustrations of inconsiderate human beings. I work oin the USA hotel industry and have opened several hotels and resorts and consider this property to be one of the best in Manila.

Shopping Tip : The Mall of Asia is 10 min. by Taxi... all of your shopping and entertainment desires can be fulfilled there. The highest class shopping boutiques are located in Greenbelt Mall - Makati.25 min by taxi.

Stayed in club room, good service and excellent breakfast in club lounge.

Tried the ala carte in the buffet restaurant, can't recommend, we had two meals that we had tried in Philippines earlier, both were way under the standard expected looking at the price tag.

Restaurant Tip : Spices @Pen was served excellent food with excellent service and the hotel is a sight itself.

Nice but Pricey!

price, location, bell boys are slow

arriving at the hotel about 7pm from bangkok, as we arrive, nobody even dared to help us carry our bags. we checked in and asked for a free upgrade and the lady in the reception welcomed it with a smile. rooms were great, we got a club room located on the 10th floor, it has an great view of both the city skyline and manila bay. bathroom is cool, big shower but no bathtub. it has an lcd tv, free wired internet for 24 hours. getting in and out of the hotel is a challenging act. the hotel is situated quite far from the busy street. going back to the hotel, be ready to pay a non-metered price. if you have to bargain with the driver, please do it. the hotel is really out of the way. looks near with mall of asia but really it's not. the streets are dark. checking out was a breeze. getting a taxi to the airport, it's PRICEY!
