the sofitel manila plaza is one of the most luxurious 5 star hotels in manila, well located at the manila bay. also great is the proximity to the mall of asia and the airport, and that all off the buzzing streets of the roxas boulevard area. the in house restaurant spiral is fantastic, with the largest buffet in town for breakfast lunch and dinner, so great place to receive customers and impress. the lobby bar is also recommendable for food and drinks and displays one of the best selections of spirits and wines in manila. staff is very supportive and friendly. the spa is also trendy and very modern. outdoor pool is great for family with kids.

It's my 2nd stay, with friends this time in Sofitel. All staffs are same friendly. Pool remains nice and pretty after the storm. Just miss dinning in The Spiral as under construction. It's costly when spending almost daily breafast/dinner in hotel but it's worth when with warm services.
Some comment - dust cleaning while dinning always seen there.
I would suggest cleaning only before and after dinning hours.
Dinning cost better lower to match with other 5-Star hotels like Shangri-La.

The staff was friendly and everybody greets you in Frence Bon Jour, but not much detail with a follow up Frence question. The food was well prepared and the room was neat and clean.

the hotel's location is a bit far from the mall although great view of the sea. they provide shuttle service going to the mall which makes it convenient.the superior room is spacious and has a balcony which makes it great but the interiors are very simple and the tv would have been greater if it was an lcd type. the breakfast is just ordinary as compared before when the spirals restaurant was still open. the pool area is great, specially for the kids with a playground and spacious area.

Not worth the money I paid for. The design of the room is not impressive. I guess the money you spend is more for the view of Manila Bay rather than the comfort and facilities of the room There are so many people everywhere once you get out of the elevator.

enjoyable and very relaxing place to stay at. beds were so comforable. close to big shopping mall and not far from airport. buffets were amazing so much to choose from and staff were all lovely. best massage you can ever get.
