I am a director of one of the largest hotel chains in the world and this property reminds me of a nice resort in Hawaii, It was a nice property but and I could give a few more recommendations... but overall a nice property.
The Restaurant Spiral is probably one of the best buffets I have experienced in hotels. The sense of arrival is grand, but I think the ladies as door greeters are a little over dressed, while I appreciate their gowns, they seemed more appropriate for a pageant, not a Welcome.. but they are all beautiful, with smiles and a sincere Welcome.
I believe my room was 566, although the furniture and fixtures were nice, the walls did not exude a fine Sofitel, I would recommend wall paper since the walls were simply painted and the finish on the walls were very lumpy and not professional. Also the bathroom needs attention to detail, there was rust on the hinges, caulking necessary on the shower area and electrical outlet, also Housekeeping needs to learn how to use a squeegee on the glass shower and not leave any water marks on the glass.

Sofitel Hotel is located centrally near Mall of Asia. Just got back from a 1 day stay. The hotel was amazing, a lot better than what i was expecting after reading some of the reviews! Arrived at about 2pm and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff behind the reception desk. They were happy to help us with any queries and welcomed us to the hotel. The room was well presented and very clean with fresh sheets and toilet rolls. The hotel was well presented from the outside and the pool was regularly cleaned and looked after. There was some noise of an evening and in the early hours of the morning from a the mainroad. The location of the hotel was perfect for us too. We were only 3 or 4 minutes away from the nearest restos and really are a treat to have just on our door step. There were rows of shops and restaurants and bars all just nearby. We shall definetly stay in that Hotel again given a chance.
