Always my choice in Makati
Location, Value for money
7.3
I have stayed at the Somerset Milennium many time and it is my first choice when travel brings me to Makati City. The best feature of the property is it's location close to the Greenbelt and about a 30 min taxi ride to the airport. It is a quck, easy walk to the Greenbelt with it's numerous dining and entertainment options. I also find the Milennium to be good value for the money. The apartments are comparable in size to what you will find in the nearby Ascott and Frazier Place serviced apartment but the prices are considerably lower. That being said, the apartments are also in need of update/renovation. The old style tube TVs in the living room need to be replaced as does some of the more worn furniture. The only other negative is that I always request a specific floor plan and my preference is supposed to be on file with the property. Nevertheless, I didn't receive what I asked for. I must add that the reception staff was quite helpful in securing what I had asked for but I don't know why they can't get it right the first time. Still in all, that's a minor inconvenience and I would definitely recommend this property.

overall was not really that great as the cabbies doesnt seems to know this hotel location and even the locals whom suppose to pick us up had difficulty locating this hotel.
the staff didn't pay attention to our request in waking up calls for the 26 morning, we suppose to get our calls at 4am and down at lobby by 5am as we need to be in airport by 5.30-5.45am, this is all due to their excitment on the x'mas lights lighting up and photo taking the night before, we almost miss our flights of this in-competency by them as the front desk staf are rather young and this xmas deco is more interesting then looking into the customers satisfaction!!!!!
Travel tip:
don't stay here if you are on business trip, cabbie don't know location and end up paying absorbant fares!!!

This hotel is ok but not great
Relatively clean, rooms are reasonably furnished
6.3
Although the general location is pretty good, in Makati close to Greenbelt and business area, the immediate area of the hotel is not good - on a small, very dark, half broken street in the back alleys of Legaspi. Taxis never come by and can never find it (even they know the hotel!).
The pool area is terrible, no sunshine and wedged against the dirty, ugly building next to it. Lastly, skip any food in the hotel.
On the bright side, the staff were good, service was good, housekeeping was good, rooms were clean and relatively well maintained. Unfortunately no clothes washer/dryer like most serviced apartments and the rooms are a bit smaller too.
Travel tip:
You will have to walk to Greenbelt one to ever get a taxi - and recommend when going back, just tell the taxi Greenbelt 1 and walk from there. Lots of good restaurants in Greenbelt. You can easily walk to most business highrises on Ayala ave from this hotel.

Fantastic Deal
Outstanding location and facility
9.3
I really enjoyed my stay at the Somerset Millennium. The facility is absolutely fantastic. All the staff were very courteous and the room was great. Water pressue is not that great but was well within acceptance. I would recommend this place for anyone traveling to the Philippines. The location is in the cneter of the financial district. Just a 5 min walk to Greenleaf mall where there is plenty of shopping and food. The breakfast was not that great.
Shopping Tip:
5 minute walk from Greenleaf mall.

Centrally located modern serviced apartment
Friendly staff, clean and tasteful rooms and has that nice small hotel feel

I had a pleasant stay in this leafy part of town.Great for those on both business and leisure because of central location to CBD and shops.Staff were friendly and accommodating. It has that nice small hotel feel with staff remembering how you like your coffee etc and we were there for a very short trip.Management may want to look into upgrading some parts of the hotel showing some age like bathrooms, kitchenette etc.and of course provide free wireless Internet.

Decent Hotel in the middle of Makati
Location, Location, Location
7.7
This hotel is a nice hotel that is strategically located in the middle of Makati however it does not suffer that noise and traffic that Makati has to offer as it is situated on a quiet street. The rooms were of acceptable standard. Only drawback was that they were carrying out renovations and the corridors had a very bad smell.

Great apart from room key kept failing. Great location with walking distance to boutique shops great returants and bars with live bands. Its a very trendy part of the Philippines and you always feel safe. Other great places to go to without getting caught up in the made traffic is the Fort Bonafaccio which has great night clubs, resturants and shopping malls.
