Security conscious staff, clean, comfortable, very good value for money. Friendly K-9! Highly recommended. Excellent location for shopping. Free use of gym and swimming pool. Caring catering staff. Perfect location for shopping, clean and comfortable accommodation. My accommodation was quiet. Modest breakfast selection - more than adequate for my needs.

Staff, Cleanliness, nice sized room small bathroom, poor eating facilities (not really an issue as the location is fine), The hotel is fine, security is tight but polite, ALL the staff are incredibly polite and friendly and will go out of their way to assist you. The furniture in the room is not brand new and has a lived in look, this should be a great place for a longer term stay, rather than the 4 nights I was ther.

The location is in the towwn town. Near any spots as shopping mall It's good value .Right location /helpping staff. Just take 5 mins to 8 mins to walk around the greenbelt.room is comfortable .Breakfast is simple as i expect. staff is helpful ,nothing to complain then

Good location for Glorietta Shpping and Greenbelt bars and restaurants. Near also to Rockwell and Burgis St.
Reasonably priced & good service Rooms not too modern but clean and tidy
Basement Reception area makes it hard to get a taxi. Very small outside pool area tucked behind the gym Excellent location adjacant to Glorietta Shopping and Greenbelt compelx´s. All within walking distance. Old Swiss Restaurant is on the premises - waiters wear Swiss national costume which looks a bit strange. Service is good. Business Centre is small and quite costly

Hotel Employees are always kind and friendly. Whenever they see me, they say to me "Hello, sir". Naturally I also make smile. So every morning my feeling may be better. Especially, my safety would be guaranteed from consierge and police. Especially, hotel's location is so nice to take a taxt and go shopping. Moreover, this hotel is nearby manila airport and the food that two restaurant give is good to eat and during breakfast, I can use use WIFI freely. Hotel's room look small to me. If I pay for such amount of money in other place, I think that I have more space to stay. Most of all, the speed of service is always slow. But I understand this situation... Totaly I am satisfied with their service. Totally, I have been satisfied with their service. Most of all, hotel's location is very comfortable for us to take a taxi, especially go shopping. There are serveral malls nearby. So you can visit them by walk. Every food that two restaurant serve is nice for breakfast. And it might be nice for us to choose one according to my taste. The sanity and safety of hotel is also nice to me. so after traveling around manila, I came back to korea safely... Again thanks for good service.
Shopping Tip : If you want to get a massage, please go to Green belt. There are famous shop "THE SPA". You can enjoy it.

Location in central makati, price includes breakfast buffet. Clean well sized rooms. Free use of business centre. clean room, good looking room, attentive service. Noisy aircon, few complimentary bathroom products, empty minibar, no wifi access in rooms. For the price this is a good value choice. Would stay again.
Restaurant Tip : For dining/shopping the nearby Greenbelts mall has many options.

friendly staff, good location The location is great and the staff seem very friendly and helpful. The place also a more quiet part of Makati, away from the traffic and crowds. The rooms are rather small for a service apartment studio and seem to smell a bit moldy. There is something about the narrow corridors that also a bit odd. Otherwise for the price, may stay again

location location location pretty much everything else Being located adjacent to the Greenbelt and situated in the shadows of the Peninsula and the Mandarin is pretty much this hotel's entire claim to any sort of star rating - that's not to say it is entirely without value; just don't manage your expectations wisely...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a taxi to the newly developed Bonifacio High Street - the outdoor mall is very nice and relaxing

- Elevators are not shared by many residents. You dont have to wait very long for an elevator
- The suites are roomy
- Walking distance to malls and offices
- Also ideal for medium term business visits
- 24 hrs service

- Parking attendant was unpleasant and constantly acts suspicious I booked a one bedroom suite in Somerset Olympia. I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into the unit. I was happy with my choice as it was both centrally located and very homey. There was a lot of room and I had the option to prepare my own meals if I choose to do so. It is also walking distance to a lot of establishments - malls, offices and not very far from the salcedo market, either.
The room is clean and spacious. Furnishing is ok - not really great but the basics are there (incldg a dining table). If I were to relocate to Makati on business for a few months, I would totally not mind living here.
The staff are courteous and nice except for the parking attendant (night shift) who I found was a bit unpleasant. He seemed very suspicious and was not courteous nor service oriented at all.
The Somerset Olympia's extra charges are a bit on the expensive side so you would want to do your internet elsewhere (like at the Cafe downstairs where wifi is free). The room rates, however, that was offered by Agoda are not too bad for this type of accomodation. Just make sure that you see all of the charges (not just the price advertised by agoda) as additional taxes add quite a lot to the total room charge.
Shopping Tip : Walk right over to Glorietta, SM, Landmark and Greenbelt malls, just across the Ayala road.

-some of the staffs are not well trained and are not friendly/competent enough.
-the A/C is very loud and the windows are not well sealed so you can here the noise coming in from outside.
-poor amenities and facilities for the price they are charging (offering 3 star for price of 4 star) as someone that spends 80 to around 100 nights a year in hotels in this region, I think I know when I come to a good hotel or a bad one. You would expect much more from a hotel claiming to have 4 stars or is charging the rates of a 4-star hotel. Many staffs are not friendly. One staff even reacted very rudely when I asked for someone who is in charge of the technical support in establishing an internet connection, claiming that my computer must be faulty since other guests are able to access the internet in the lobby.

Mainly I liked the location.. easy to access makati and the business areas including shopping malls and night life.. Too much security, the view was very bad, the service is always chargable even for a backet of ice!! Actually it was my first time to Somerset Olympia and will be the last, poor room and very basic furniture, the air conditioner was a real problem for me since it was normal "window" AC located on the ground so I have to sleep "na..." I preferred to shift to another hotel after 5 days of stay since I've some work to do in Makati. I shifted even the traffic would take one more hour of my time! At least, I'll be more comfortable with the hotel suits my prestige! However, hotel staff was so friendly and eager to serve! Not a good combination.. I think!!

Everything about this hotel was great. I don't have a bad thing to say at all. I will stay here again when in Manila. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, great location and very secure. Breakfast bar was perfect, plenty of choices and good food. Both restaurants at the location have excellent food and a great staff as well. You would not be disappointed if you stay here. There should be a television in the bedrooms and chairs for the balcony. Everything about this hotel was great. I don't have a bad thing to say at all. I will stay here again when in Manila. Location, Location, Location. It is located in a safe secure area and is not far from the malls and restaurants. The entire staff is all first class and made my stay very pleasant.
Put a television in the bedroom and a couple of chairs on the balconies. Other than that I have no complaints. I have stayed at all three Sommerset hotels in Makati and the staff at this one is the best. From security to the front desk to the waitstaff, everybody there makes you feel like you want to come back.
My room was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The price is reasonable and you get a really nice room.
I will definitely stay here again.

Location, friendly and helpful staff, price Breakfast, bathroom, balcony, overall room quality I must say i was disappointed by this hotel. The location is good and its nearby both Greenbelt Shoppingcenters and the nightlife. But overall quality in the room was disappointing. The toilet didnt flush well, the hotwater takes years until it start come and the quality in the room was belov average. The balcone is very very small (if You can call that a balcony) and You just looked straigt into another building wall. I will try another hotel next time
