very big suite,nice furnishing,good kitchen internet access bit expensive,coz 4 nites visit and it didnt work perfectly,but they gave 50% discount,coz I said I cant accept normal charge. Service was good and good security.Breakfast was ok for me,coz i wanna light breakfast.Location is good in Makati area and easy to get taxi.Room was great,specially bedroom.
We really enjoyed our staying there and can recommend this service apartment house.Agoda room rates was reasonable.We will stay again when we will do next visit to Manila.

spacious room, fast room service, friendly employees, heated swimming pool, nice size kitchen small swimming pool, only one small tv from a one bedroom suite Starting from the entrance, you are greeted by a friendly doorman and a guard. The lobby is a bit small for a 5 star hotel. The decor is just basic, nothing to exciting. Their receptionist were slow with the check-in as if they didn't have a reservation yet. Even though we booked it days ahead. When we got to our room the key card didn't work and we had to go back downstairs to the lobby. The room was very spacious, but the decor was really outdated. Including non-matching style curtains on the windows, as if they ran out of curtains. There was also only 1 small tv for whole room. The only way to tv from inside the bedroom was to open the sliding doors and the tv was way too small to watch. The room service was great! Everything we needed was there in minutes of us calling.

this hotel is located in the heard of makati. surroundings is full of restaurant and entertainment outlets. the room is very spacious, staffs are friendly. however, the breakfast is very poor, with only extremely little selection. going to the hotel is quite tricky as there are 3 sommersets in the makati.

When I checked in they had upgraded my room as there were no rooms left of what I have booked. They were polite, friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean, breakfast had a good variety and fresh. I wanted privacy during my stay and they respected that too. I really liked staying there. Also 7/11, mini mart, salon and coffee shop all nearby. Can't think of anything.... I would totally stay there again. Very friendly, clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, fresh and in pleasant room. Room service was efficient and food delicious. Also reasonable price on room service and on hotel in general. I liked the fact that they upgraded our room when there were not enough rooms of what we had ordered. always indicates a level of customer care. Security was also excellent and I felt staff were unobtrusive which is always good in a hotel when you want to relax. When it rained umbrellas were at the ready....

Centrally located in Makaki. Good value and great service for the money. Breakfast buffet was good but not great. Very nice hotel in the heart of makati. I stayed in a studio which was quite large with a small kitchen and all the kitchen equipment we needed. The staff are all very nice and the service was great. They made some copies and send faxes for me at no additional charge.
Restaurant Tip : Service was horrible and the nearby North Park restaurant.

Good location. Good staff. Good breakfast and use of conf room. There are about 27 floors and only 2 lifts. These lifts are used by guests and staff. You can wait for over 5 minutes for a lift when it gets busy If you are there for a holiday, stay but on business, it is a challenge to wait for the lifts

beautiful and tastefully decorated, gym, and location were all excellent. I did not dislike anything about this hotel. the rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated, and was pleased to see such a state of the art gym and pool on the 5th floor. Also the location so close to the glorietta and greenbelt malls was so convenient. I also really enjoyed the options for breakfast -- usually hotels do not offer such healthy food such as yogurt, fresh fruits, and there was real brewed coffee. We had a wonderful stay!
Hotel Feature Tip : I used the hotel salon since I was getting ready for my friend's wedding. They did a fabulous job and I would definitely use this salon again, not just for special occassion. the staff were very talented, professional and friendly.

location, clean room, friendly staff elevator is too slow, swimming pool too small and needs to be maintained little more and need better business center. overall i liked staying at this hotel. i've stayed alone in a 1 bedroom and it had plenty of space. i think at least 3 people can share the 1 bedroom. breakfast was nothing special, but edible. i expected this because this is not a resort hotel but a business hotel. in conclusion, its a decent place to stay for the money.

Location - for business people who needs to be near Makati.
Rooms - clean
Swimming Pool - need to clean the water more often with less chlorine. I've stayed at this hotel few times, because of the location which is near most of financial companies. My one bed room was big with nice view of Makati, but furnitures needs to be changed. I had a kitchenett with all necessary utensiles and plates, but never used it once. Breakfast was average, but coffee needs to be improved, because for me I need a goof coffee to start the morning.

The room is surprisingly big as well as the bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast is ok, but not that satisfying. I booked this hotel since I was looking for a place for my friend's bridal shower. A friend recommended it, since it's where he proposed so I figured out it's probably a romantic place, and seeing the building's exterior, I liked it immediately. I searched through different sites for good rates and it is in Agoda where I found the cheapest so immediately I booked.
We had no problems checking in. It was fast and they were very helpful. When I saw the room, I was surprised since the size was more than I expected, even the bathroom was spacious.
I definitely would stay again at this hotel. It's great for a few nights with family or friends. Also, it's walking distance to convenience stores and coffee shops.

Large apartment; generally helpful staff Not close to restaurant/shopping areas; Internet is not complementary. I frequently stay in Somerset properties in several Asian countries and found this one to be in the middle when it comes to comfort, quality and value for the money. The 1 bedroom apartment I had was spacious and reasonably well furnished but was a bit threadbare. The kitchen was also under-equipped for someone who actually might want to prepare simple meals. On the positive side, the apartment was quiet and comfortable. One annoying aspect was, unlike every other Somerset I have stayed at, internet was not complementary in the apartments. Overall, this is a reasonable place to stay if the location works for you.

Room is spacious and comfortably furnished Check in is painfully slow Everybody has different expectations of an overnight stay. Fast check-in, clean room, friendly staff, good value for money, etc. Salcedo succeeds on all fronts except check-in. 50 minutes to check in at 3pm in the afternoon is not good. Communication was not good. Sitting in the lobby waiting ("just 10 minutes...") was not good. Somerset have some very reasonably priced and well located properties around MNL and appear to target the business traveler. Their rooms are excellent in all respects... but the customer service needs to be sharpened up.
Nightlife Tip : Far enough away from the bustle of the usual night spots.

It was quite central (in a way) It was quite central but there's not much restaurants in nearby walking distance within 5 minutes.
The room that I stayed in 2401 was very smelly. Though they mentioned to me during check in and offered to put in an ioniser. I thought that it's more of the smoker's room as I requested for one so the ioniser may help.
But however, the room they gave me is not due to the smoker's smell but it was more like water soaked onto the carpet and hence an unbearable smell. Opened all the windows and went out for a quick dinner but the smell was still unbearable.
My comment will be, if they are award of the smell in the room, either the resolve that before they let any customers in or don't rent that room out....

The spacious room and bathroom, the hotel spa, swimming pool, sauna, and gym, and the very professional housekeeping staff, overall courteous hotel personnel. This definitely is the hotel the family (local or visiting) should stay! I didn't know that the phone had a small charge everytime I used it even for local calls, but the operator was on point, so I actually did not mind it. I'll bet my last dollar on this hotel. If I had a million, I'll spend it here. I hope when I come back, it'll be the same.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are three other Somerset Hotels within walking distance from each other, and save for their Four Star hotel you can use their swimming pools if you're the curious type. Definitely check them out!
