Great Hotel with friendly staf
Clean, helpful, modern, good breakfast, daily paper
9
I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend after one night at another hotel just down the road. This was a huge step up from the first hotel and I was very glad we switched. The staff was very helpful with all my needs and they had parking available on site. Wifi worked in my room and throughout the hotel. You do only get one device connected to wifi at a time, I had to pay extra to connect both my cell phone and laptop but that wasn't a big deal. Will definitely stay again when in Manila.
Nightlife Tip:
This hotel is right next to the red light street so if that is your thing. If not you will see a lot of that kind of activity at any hotel in this area.

This was my second time staying here, the rooms are very clean with great hot water for the showers. Rooftop pool area gives a great view of the city. Internet is not free and is not that strong too. Food is decent, location is great and very easy to get a taxi. Staff is pretty good too. The bed was pretty comfy and they give you a daily paper. Overall I will stay there if the price stays low as there are a few other hotels for about $20 dollars cheaper with free internet and just as clean nearby.

service and staff was excellent

i had no issues with the hotel and the food was great along with a nice breakfast. music in the bar was fantastic.
beware of taxi without meter!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
beware of the cab drivers, they will tell you one thing at the hotel and try to scam you when riding. use a meter or get screwed. one cab broke down on the freeway in the rain, second one tried to raise the price from 200 peso to 900 and we walked the last 10 min to our event.

Great Location & Service with a Smile
Location, restaurants, services near by, nice, simple clean room with free Wi Fi
8.3
Picked St. Giles Hotel for convenient location & affordability.
The location excellent: close to bars, restaurants, stores and services.
The Staff were friendly, professional and helpful and all with a smile.
Check in & check out was quick, no hassle & no waiting
The rooms were clean, simple in design and included Free Wi Fi
Special requests were handled quickly & efficiently hassle free.
Was always offered help with out baggage.
The Breakfast Service - has a better offering now but could still improve
in both food choice & service.
About the only thing - that annoyed me about the Hotel is their elevators - they
are new but they're somewhat slow - speed between floors & the doors.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nice cosy massage centre in the building across the street from the hotel

Covers the basics
Straightforward, no nonsense hotel
6.3
very good, basic, no nonsense hotel in makati. rooms are small but clean enough. small work out room and small pool on roof. pool is too small to swim laps, basically a dip pool. breakfast buffet just ok, has the basics, but nothing special. what can be reasonably expected at the price point.
only problem was a strange leak from the shower in my bathroom coming from behind the tile which appeared to be a construction flaw. they put a towel down but this appeared to be a bigger issue.
friendly staff. would stay here again, just not in that same room.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Breakfast goes until 10a. Don't wait until 930a to go to breakfast or it will be very picked over and some options will not be available. They even ran out of coffee and fruit while I was there.

Good Hotel in Downtown Makati
7.7
Nice hotel in Makati. The bellman/door greeters and the staff at our breakfast were very attentive and friendly. Beautiful views of the city at the top of the hotel. Overall I will stay here again but for $150 there may be better values out there.
Nightlife Tip:
Close to P. Burgos St.
