Great Hotel and the staff were fantastic

this is a very nice hotel the staff are very nice and friendly and they have real coffee in the restuarant which is rare in the philippines,the love there nescafe'instant.
the only drawback with this hotel is the street sellers in close distance which we had prolems with during our stay but we were very well looked after by the tourest police and the hotel owner so cant complain.

style and value "sleeper cabin"

i booked this hotel because the sleeper cabin is a great deal for the neighborhood. the room is quite small, only suitable for a solo traveller in need of a place to crash. but, its a great price to be in such a nice hotel. loved my time there, each time i arrived i felt like i was back on miami beach. they really did an excellent job on the renovation and decor.

Good Room in Makati Red district

i have stay there 2 times when in manila.
first time for 3 nigths and second time for 2 nigths.
room is big and nice. small noise due to the road near by: still acceptable as i am very noise sensitive.
negative part: it is in the center of the red ligth district.

Hotel has a Pan Am ailine theme - quite nice.
Friendly staff.
Wifi generally worked.
Foyer has no air cond, so a little uncomfortable if you have to eat there. Little dining room is stuffy, but you can put air cond on.
The older lady makes a great omelette for breakfast - the young guy is not so good at it.
Hotel is on the fringe of the red light district, but no problem.
Taxi drivers can't find it, but they know the main roads nearby.

The hotel is very small but well maintained. The entire place is very clean and the food in the also small restaurant is quite good. Amenities in the rooms are minimal, so be sure to bring your own. They provide shampoo and soap but I preferred mine. Their rates seem to keep going up little by little though. I loved their breakfast, especially their omelettes! The wifi is inreliable and keeps getting cut off while the computer in the lobby is equally temperamental. We were a couple but most guests are men who come to the area to meet girls.

the hotel is quaint and unique. surprising safe, clean and wholesome, considering that it sits right in the midst of makati's infamous red light district. lots of taxis, restaurants and bars around the area. the staff is incredibly cool and helpful.
Shopping Tip:
Quick, cheap cab ride to Rockwell shopping center, one of the best malls in Makati area.

the clipper can't be beat. it's a great blend of 50s style and contemporary sophistication- all for a reasonable price. the rooms are spacious, the beds comfy and the service super. i wish i could have stayed a whole week here. the location is great too- just of bustling burgos bar street but quiet. can't recommend this enough!

Situated in the bar district of Makati this hotel has the advantage to be at the same time in the action and a littles apart of the noisy nightlife. The rooms are tidy, the white painting gives more light to the whole building and the 30s aeroplane 's theme gives a unity to the set up .
