if you can't live with the very low condition then the Fan room is NOT recommended for you. The room is totally... unbelivable: incredibly small and stuffy with dim light, located on 4th floor without elevator, no hot water and the room looks like it's been forgotten for years lol. I didn't stay in Manila so long so I can accept that.
The staffs are really nice, I think the higher-condition room is better (obviously)
One more thing that you should be remind: the hotel has their standard check-in at 2pm and standard check-out at 12pm so if you check in before 2pm or check out after 12pm you have to charge for about 475PH(about 11$), I didnt remember exactly the price. So take notice!

Roach infested death trap with no hot water
Nothing was close to good about this hotel

The room had no windows, no hot water, no towels, and no room cleaning service. What you pay for is a thin foam pad to sleep on. But sleep was not possible due to my body being ravaged by ants which covered the bed and giant cockroaches which covered the floor. I have traveled to 42 countries and stayed in more than 1000 hotels, this one was the worst.
