Good hotel - but don't arrive after midnight!

Our stay was very comfortable. Our only moan would be about the check in service when we arrived at approximately 1.45 am, very tired. We had requested an extra bed for our teenage son ahead of time, with Agoda, but instead the reception man tried to sell us a room upgrade. At first we thought it was a free upgrade, but no - we would have been charged per night in addition for the pleasure. They clearly thought we would accept the upgrade as we had to wait far too long for the extra bed to be set up in the room we had originally reserved and paid for. Also the reception man gave us far too much non-essential information, when all we wanted to do was check-in quickly and get to bed.

The best location in Makati City, Philippines
I love Manila Pen's lobby, it is the best in Manila.

The price is a bit too high but since I want my parents to experience the finest hotel in Manila, we booked in Manila Peninsula. The hotel is located at the heart of Makati City but the rooms are small. What I love best is their lobby, it is well decorated during Christmas season. The staffs are really friendly (they offered late check out) and they accompanied us to our room and taught us how to operate the things inside the room. I also love the hotel restaurant inside the hotel because it serves great food and many varieties. The pool area is also a good place in the hotel. All in all, I can say that it is worth the price. I will stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
If you are on a budget and you do not want to eat at the restaurants in the Hotel lobby, you can go to Ayala Triangle, right beside the hotel. There are many good restaurants there and the view is good.

A Grand Hotel with outstanding service

The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The security is top notch. All the staff smile and greet you. The pool is very nice. The music in the lobby is very relaxing. Room are clean and comfortable. The bath room is large and very clean. The location is great for shopping in Greenbelt and Glorietta mall.
