Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. accomodations are great and the location is superb.
Buffet breakfast is a so so. improvement is in order as guests usually take breakfast and dont take lunch anymore and will wait for dinner.
Travel tip : great place for shopping, golf and jogging which are very near the hotel.

Good Room - Clean n well maintained
Had buffet dinner at LATITUDE / commet as below:
1. Service rather poor - slow response to TOP UP buffet dish / they were EMPTY at the very early moments of the buffet !
2. Quality kind of below average
3. Waiters staff were not that attentive to customers
I do not mind staying again , especially due to the convenient location to the city shopping area.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hospitality is second to noe !! Thumbs up
Suggest management to set up a nice SPA saunna for guests to relax.
Nightlife Tip : Harrisson Street is just around the corner !

Large room with good view of Manila bay
Rooms not cleaned until late in the day. Long wait for service in the lobby lounge
The traders hotel has been renovated since my last stay several years ago. The room I stayed in was large with a king sized bed which was very comfortable. Staff in general were helpful but I found the long wait for service and/or the order in the lobby lounge annoying. I used the pool on a couple of occassions which I enjoyed.

For us, the Hotel offered a complete package that was located close to all central services. The Standard room was really nice and the Staff were all friendly and helpful
I did not perceive anything about the Hotel that we did not like
From the time we entered the Hotel we were impressed with the presentation and the efficiency of the Staff. The Room was very nicely turned out and the large screen TV system was excellent. Access to all the amenities was good and we enjoyed a nice dinner in the Restaurant. The travel Center staff were most helpful and we are happy to recommend this Hotel to our family and friends.
Shopping Tip : A must do is to visit The Mall of Asia, allow plenty of time because it is huge

Clean comfortable rooms, free internet access and pleasant coffee shop with printing facilities.Great food ,very pleasant staff. Close to expo center and airport.
Cappuccino's need extra shot of coffee. Otherwise a very nice place to spend a few days.
This hotel has a small hotel feel whilst offering the guest all the amenities of a world class hotel. I found the staff really accommodating and professional. The hotels restaurant is very good and the room service speedy. The Japanese restaurant in the lobby serves up good quality in a very real Japanese setting. The coffee shop also very handy, just needs a little more coffee in the coffee.
Travel tip : Very close to Expo center/ trade show sight. The American war cemetery is a special place to visit.

the hotel is situated at the heart of roxas st. very accessible with friendly multi-language receptionist. I was very surprised that the rooms has free wifi, as a traveling business person this feature is a must!! newly renovated rooms, very modern and very spacious as well as very clean. beds are very soft, we traveled with our 7 month old baby boy and he sleep like a baby.

Loved the atmosphere and the people working in the hotel. The gym was suffice for my workout. Treadmills and elliptical with some weight machines. Theres a pool. The afternoon snack at the trader club lounge and free sodas was great. I should have used it more.
Need more filipino dishes for breakfast. Sometimes you have to follow up on food orders with room service
This place is great. The people in this place know you by name even when calling. They will go out of their way to get you what you want. I had 2 pairs of pants needing hemming and they got it done for me. Room service was prime. Try the Pata dish. There is a small lounge down by the lobby and they have live band playing almost everynight I was there.
Nightlife Tip : Take the cab to Club LA. There you go upstairs and pay 100 peso for the entrance. Scope the area and you could get lucky. Dont take the first bite right away. No need to negotiate any fines. Its freelance arena. Dont be a cheap charlie though. The Mall of Asia is nearby. Make sure you tell the taxi to turn on the meter or get off. Its about 80 peso to the mall of asia. There is a health massage place next door. Check it out, my friend recommended for next visit.

There service is outstanding nothing can compare to it
It's not at the greatest of all locations
I loved this hotel and it's services. It was kept up to par and the service was outstanding, quick and very reliable if this hotel was in a better location it would be the best hotel i have ever visited outside of the u.s. period with no rival to match it. So basically to sum it all up is that this hotel is the awesome. Outstanding :)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is this great luxury spa it's called something like the "wasau" spa for men and women and basically i got a pedicure;manicure;supreme facial scrub; and a fully body massage. in dollars in the states that would have cost me at least 3 to 5 hundred so you really need to check this out and oh yeah there is an open buffet; just as long as you eat everything you put on your plate.

Staff - Everyone tries to exceed your expectations, and they are genuinely happy to please you. It is a culture there, like staying with family and friends who truly care about how your are feeling.
Traders Club - If you can afford access to the room upstairs, you will not regret it: Exemplary service, food and drink available...it is a fully stocked airline lounge (if you like that sort of thing - I do!)
View - the view of the bay and the area is spectacular, the parks, the traffic, and the bay:
Gorgeous!
The rooms were satisfactory, but everyone there mentioned that they were renovating a several floors below. The "new" general manager has a vision, and the staff are behind the GM 100%. When it is done, I'm sure it will be fantastic. However, the rooms are certainly adequate.
The area around the hotel (about 100 yards in either direction) is somewhat unattractive/undesireable. It is not dangerous, but the area seems run-down and in need of a face-lift or demolition. Just get in your taxi and go; do not walk around at night if you don't have to.
The bottom line is that I have fallen in love with this hotel. I really want to go back and spend time there. It is not the newest, most modern hotel in the city, but it is staffed with wonderful, caring people who want to make sure that your stay there is a relaxing one. From the front desk (who offered to exchange traveler's checks for me - it's a hassle at the banks) to the room cleaner/attendant (cleaned/replaced/answered every request). Especially helpful was the assistant front desk manager. During all times of the day, whether in the fitness center, or in the Trader's Club upstairs, I had time to rest and think about the city of Manila, so beautiful from above. I want to explore that surrounding area using the hotel as a base.
If you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night or two, go somewhere else. If you plan on relaxing and enjoying the hotel, stay at this here. The Mall of Asia is down the road, and cultural attractions along the shore will entice you to stay longer or to return. I will go back soon. Also, book early on Agoda, it's cheaper, a lot cheaper.
See you at Trader's!
Hotel Feature Tip : Get a Trader's Club room.
There is a mini mart around the corner. When you exit the hotel, go right. Walk to the corner light, turn right, and the Mini Mart is about 80 meters down the road. Buy your convenience store items or phone card (local calls from the hotel is 120 pesos).

Within reasonable distance from Airport;
Less traffic noise than some competitors
Clean and comfortable
Polite, helpful staff
No major drawbacks come to mind
Traders Hotel is located about 30 minutes by taxi from the international airport. Situated on Roxas Blvd, it did not seem as noisy as some of its competitors, at least in the non smoking room which I was allocated. There is a strong but polite security presence on arrival. Rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy, and do not appear as “tired” as some other Manila hotels. Prompt service at breakfast, with a slightly better selection of items from the buffet than I have seen in other Manila hotels.

Beautiful views, excellent staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet.
Location is quite far from anything but a group of bars.
Trader's is a nice, clean hotel on Roxas Boulevard overlooking Manila Bay. Access was a bit of a problem as the service road was torn up to install a water line. My room was clean, airy and had twin beds pushed together to make a King size. The breakfast buffet was varied with Japanese, Filipino & Western dishes. Traffic in the area was horrendous.
Shopping Tip : The SM mall of Asia was about 20 minutes away by car through trully awful traffic, but was well worth the visit. Literally hundreds of stores, restaurants and specialty shops.
