Beautiful resort with good food

Cadlao Resort is 10 mins away from El Nido's main establishments. They offer trike transfer from the resort to the main street, but their trike can only accommodate 2 persons at a time and if one is a curvy/healthy type the companion will have to sit on the uncomfortable side (without cushion and really bare metal). Coming from the town, you'd have to call them so that they can fetch you from the alley's entrance.
This hotel is beachfront but not a good spot for swimming. Their swimming pool area is really nice but we didn't get to try it because we were exhausted from our island hopping. I liked their surrounding; garden is really nice and relaxing. Their staffs were friendly and would always greet their guests with a smile.
I super enjoyed their Seafood Curry and Grilled Pork Ribs. Seafood curry had generous amount of seafoods but very tasty curry sauce that is good not just for two but 3 (if you easily gets full). Same with their grilled pork ribs a very generous portion of ribs that is good for sharing.
The owners are really hands-on. I saw them checking and discussing comments from previous guests. They are conscious about negative reviews and I think they make it a point to improve their service and resort from guest's experiences. This means that they are not only concern on their business but on their guest satisfaction.
For improvement, I think the resort management should check on their hot and cold shower because hot water is not consistent. They should also add complimentary bottled water for their guests and citronella candles/sprays for the insects and mosquitoes. I wasn't able to stay on the porch because I don't want to get mosquito bites all over me. Also, television would be a good entertainment for guests. Add cushion to the other side of the trike please.
Despite these improvements, I would still recommend this resort to friends. We really had a great time and was able to relax

It is a great resort yet somewhat expensive.
The restaurant is significantly overpriced when compared to any of the options in Town.

It was ok.
the inifinity pool, the nice room. the good service of the staff

i reason that i booked with the resort was the beautiful view of the infinity pool facing the cadlao island. one could just have a lazy afternoon, lying on the lounges near the pool and watch the beautiful sunset..too bad, we were there during the rainy season, so we weren't able to see the sunset.

Overall one of the best in El Nido

Overall our stay at Cadlao was good. After staying at other hotels in town we appreciated their pool, location ( best sunset in town) and restaurant which is one of the best in El Nido. The room is honestly not that great. Can't get wifi in the executive rooms, no TV, and our towels were quite dirty. However what you are paying for is the atmosphere of Cadlao. If you can get a room for a good price, I'd say it's worth it.

A Hidden Oasis Down a Dirt Road

Could not fault our stay at this resort. Lazing by the pool to escape the heat or relax after a day trip ( btw have the resort organise all your tour/trip needs) ***also ask for Jemal (THE BEST TOUR GUIDE WE HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO SPEND THE DAY WITH)
The rooms were comfortable and clean and the surrounds well maintained and looked after.
Staff are a credit to the resort and they come across as though they enjoy working there and take pride in what they do..

Bugs in the room
View was awesome from the resort restaurant, free ride to the main town, responsive reservation department

Many bugs in the room, no TV (but that was ok), shower head was weak, breakfast spread was limited to 4 sets of choices and was not filling.
