Great resort for scuba diving and relaxing

The resort is located one hour from Coron by boat, on a small and very green island. Located directly at the sea, one feels completely engulfed by nature with no civilization in sight. Nonetheless, service and food are fantastic and the staff do everything to make their visitor's stay in paradise as pleasant as possible.
They also provide diving equipment and organize scuba diving trips to the nearby world-famous wrecks. This is done in a very flexible and professional way, and I can only recommend this resort for divers. In particular, I think it is preferable to stay at the resort instead of in Coron town itself, since Chindonan Island is much closer to the wrecks and, moreover, the diving staff make an effort to keep the groups of divers small so that one gets the best possible experience.

Remote island experience

After staying night in Coron we've been picked up from our hotel by Chindonan staff and also dropped of at the airport at the end of our stay. It took about 1 hour boat ride to get to Chindonan island with one village and only one resort. Welcome drink, large terrace overlooking bay, clean bathroom, walk in wardrobe and nicely decorated huge room - one of those better looking resorts in Philippines. Both breakfast and dinner is included and was very delicious. Many drinks are available. We had a lot of fun playing darts. Boat can be hired for 2500 half day or 5000 full day. Please mind that food and entrance to some of the parks are not included. You can order delicious sandwiches. I would recommend to bring some snacks like cashew nuts from Coron as supplies are limited. Overall very nice place to stay. Highly recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Stay one night in Coron and do island hopping (Tour B1) of close by Coron island. We've got private boat for 3000 including delicious grilled fish and chicken with salad and entrance fee. Wrecks and remote dive sites are better to visit from Chindonan.

Paradise in Pilipinnes

unforgettable...
the communication by email is personal and precise, just as the staff behave all the time. chindonan island is 45 minutes by boat from coron, a little and busy town 30 minutes (by a shuttle) from the airport (don't go to puerto princesa - you have to book your flight to coron - bussuanga airport in philipinnes).
there was someone waiting for us at the airport. the guy put us in a shuttle and the shuttle took us to the hotel boat. the hotel has two boats. one was sent to take us to the island. what a crew has greeted us! people with great spirit, good sense of humor and perfect english.
those area around the resort is one of the ten best places to dive-snorkeling in the world, and i can tell why. i have been diving for over 35 years and had never been in a place like that.
take some local money to the hotel, since you will need it to pay for the government environment protection fees - they are cheap,(about $2 to $4 us each), but you will pay for each of the places you visit. the one day boat trip has to be a priority (!!), but give yoursef a day to rest before trying it. less than four days is the hotel will be a big mistake - plan to be five or more days - it is worth!
