The El Nido Resorts Lagen Island, the Philippines, is located on a tropical hideaway set in a cove and accessible by a boat ride from El Nido Airport. With a conference room able to accommodate up to 70 persons and fully equipped with audio-visual equipment, the El Nido Resorts offers a unique venue for business and social gatherings. The restaurant at the El Nido Resorts serves a selection of fresh seafood and a variety of local and international cuisine. Other facilities at the El Nido Resorts include a lobby lounge and bar, a library, a video room, and a clinic equipped with basic medical facilities. Recreational facilities at the El Nido Resorts include a swimming pool, a game area with a billiard table, dart boards, and table tennis facilities. Guest with a penchant for water sport, can go hobiecat sailing with guides, diving, kayaking, and windsurfing.
Luggage Policy Free luggage allowance on board the aircraft (including hand-carried items) is ten kilograms per passenger Security Policy
For security reasons, all guests visiting El Nido Resorts including those that are not taking ITI flights (hotel's private plane) are required to pass through LIO Airport in El Nido for proper security checking before proceeding to the resorts. Transfers to the resorts will only be via El Nido Resort Boats. Guests arriving via their own boats are not allowed to enter the property. Please note that proper changes will be applied for guests who are unable to check in as scheduled. Room Rates include:
* Air-conditioned accommodation with private toilet and shower, verandah, mini-bar and IDD phone.
* Roundtrip boat transfers (El Nido Airport - Resort - El Nido Airport) on hotel's regular schedules for guests' taking Island Transvoyager flights.
* Room rates do not include airfare. Guests should call El Nido Resort directly for further information.

Complimentary use of mask, snorkel, fins and kayak within the resort during duration of stay
*Room amenities may change without prior notice. Please note that children aged 7-11 years sharing their parents rooms will be charged PHP 3,660 net per night which is inclusive of full board meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), accommodation, use of resort facilities, activities, boat transfers, 12% government tax and service charge. (Airfare will be charged accordingly). In addition, children 12 years and above shall be charged adult rates. Should a separate room be required for children 2-11 years old without any adult sharing the room, 1 child shall be charged single adult rate. Please note that children below age of 6 years are free of charge. The hotel arranges complimentary roundtrip airport transfers. Please note that guests are required to provide their flight details at least 3 days prior to arrival by email to Agoda Customer Service at cs@agoda.com Children and extra beds:Guests over 6 years old are considered as adults. Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

Important Notice
All visitors to El Nido, 12 Years old and above, are required by law to pay a conservation fee of PHP 200 per visit. Fees collected will be used by the Protected Area Management committee to maintain El Nido Protected Area. This fee may be settled at the resort upon check-out.
Private Boat Transfer charge
The guests requiring private boat transfers outside the hotel's regular airport boat shuttle shall be charged at PHP 4,000 nett for 1-5 persons and PHP 500 nett per additional person, per way, inclusive of 10% service charge and 12% VAT. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Room rates do not include airfare and boat transfers for customers making own travel arrangements. El Nido Resorts will contact customers after booking is confirmed to organize such transfers.

Our stay at Lagen was great in terms of being in a quiet, remote, and safe area enjoying great views of the clear water, limestone cliffs, and exclusive beaches. I wouldn't call it a 5 star hotel though given the quality of food, level of service, luxuriousness of the property and spa. Outside of the views and environment, all of the amenities of the hotel are mediocre at best.
